    Joe Rogan during the fight was very critical of the way Travis Browne has regressed. Without saying it he was blaming that clown college in Glendale.

    Gall says Joe Silva was the reason he was allowed to come out to "Hey Micky" tonight, because DFW had forbidden it.

    DFW likes him some nu metal. Probably would've queued up some Godsmack for him to walk out to.

    So the night began with CB Dolloway injuring himself in an elevator and being forced to withdraw from his fight. Ominous beginning.

    Don't have much to say about the prelims. Bethe Correia might've won back some respect. JoJo Calderwood had a disappointing but not atypical performance.

    First fight of the PPV saw Jimmy Rivera, ranked 12th, defeat Urjiah Faber. Lots of good low kicks from Rivera in the fight that threw Faber for a loop. I feel like if these guys fought ten times they might go 5-5. Bad loss for Faber who loses to an opponent ranked outside the top-2 (depending on where you put Edgar when he debuted at FW) in over a decade.

    Mickey Gall demolished CM Punk in about two minutes. Punk didn't throw a punch. Not much to say about this one. Punk vowed to return. Gall called out Sage Northcutt. Don't love seeing guys call out guys in weight classes below them but Northcutt is a big LW. Not sure anything will come of this. The UFC probably doesn't want Gall running through their meal tickets. Gall gave a juvenile "fuck the haters" promo after the fight and Punk looked like he wanted to die and the crowd booed him. Fun times.

    Werdum/Browne wasn't a carbon copy of their last fight but only because Werdum looked a little slower. Browne was just as listless. Browne channelled Jamie Varner by calling time out in the first round after deflecting a blow with his finger, breaking or dislocating it. I think taking a quick break is a better result than the referee stopping the fight which is what he probably should've done. Fireworks after the fight as Werdum mocked the Glendale team for moaning, leading to a confrontation with Edmund in which the Amenian Ali was front kicked by Werdum as Browne watched on. Cleveland proceeded to boo Werdum as he asked them not to drink and drive.

    Main event-- both Miocic and Reem take turns getting rocked. Overeem, possibly concussed, abandons the tactical style that got him a title shot and starts winging punches. The guillotine choke never looked 100% so it is strange that Reem says he felt a tap. Replays didn't show it. Reem looked a little gassed afterwards and kind of stumbled into the situation that led to his tenth KO loss. The takeaway is that heavyweights hit hard, I guess? Werdum was the best heavyweight of the night but he's a long way from a rematch. Kicking Edmund might lead to a suspension and also a place in the UFC Hall of Fame.

    Werdum looked out of shape and flabby though. If thats how he comes into a miocic rematch...... i think stipe takes it

    Running tab on the oddities tonight...

    - Replacement opponent Ray Borg pulls out during fight week
    - Not to be outdone, CB Dolloway loses via TKO (elevator action) less than 24hrs before the event
    - Fan heckles Overeem at the presser
    - CM Punk shows up to media day wearing a baggy sportcoat from 1981
    - Jessica Eye loses a showcase fight in her hometown
    - Urijah Faber kicks Jimmie Rivera in the groin, pokes him in the eye once he's recovered, loses first 3-round decision of his career
    - Mickey Gall comes out to Hey Mickey after being told he wouldn't be allowed, calls out Sage Northcutt and the Haters after his fight, swearing like a 12-year old on a sugar high
    - CM Punk rushes Gall to start the fight, gets taken down and submitted easily without having mounted any offence at all in the fight
    - Fabricio Werdum begins his rematch with Travis Browne by landing a running jumping side kick to the face
    - Edmund loses his voice, shout-whispers "instructions" to Browne during the break such as "he's not in your league" and "fuck"
    - Browne loses twice in the same fight, TKO- finger injury, then unanimous decision, despite all three judges scoring the fight differently (29-28, 29-27, 30-27)
    - Werdum kicks Edmund after the fight then gets booed when he tells the crowd not to drink and drive (Cleveland crowd sucked all night)
    - Reem almost KO's Miocic, Miocic almost KO's Reem, Reem forgets how he's been winning and reverts to hardstyle, loses, claims Miocic tapped, replays show he didn't
    - Goldy tried to sing California Love
