MJ was able to tag Khabib a few times. Can Khabib survive getting tagged by Conor's laser left?

A few thoughts on the event...

    - With this victory Frank Edgar is officially stranded in that division. There is nothing for him to do.
    - Khabib should be the number one contender but you'd think the UFC would make Conor defend FW first, right? Khabib/Tony could be next if that is the case
    - If Nunes beats Rousey that division is fucked. No Rousey, no Tate, ageing Holly Holm... I dunno, not much to look forward to. Pena, my god...
    - Yoel Romero might as well live in a WADA lab until they book his fight with Bisping
    - What the hell can Jacare do now? Wait for Rockhold I guess
    - Jessica Andrade is next for JJ, I suppose. That division isn't looking good.
    - The real loser tonight is Demian Maia. Do they make him wait through a Woodley/Wonderboy instant rematch? UFC history says yes.
    - Conor McGregor is the man

After that fight, I am okay with an instant rematch for Wonderboy. I don't think Woodley won and I don't think Wonderboy won. That was a perfect draw, IMO. Wonderboy had more rounds while Woodley had the bigger round.

Conor's striking is right on par with Anderson Silva's its crazy. Dude is so precise with his striking. And I'm starting to think that Kavanaugh isn't bowing smoke up our ass when he says that Conor didn't defend takedowns against Mendes for fear of blowing his ACL out. He stuffed Eddie EASILY. Last fight he stuffed like 6/7 from Nate, right? Maybe his wrestling isn't that bad.

Conor / Khabib will be interesting. Every round starts on the feet and if Conor's TD defense is legit, he should be able to stuff a few off them. Can Khabib get it down fast enough to pound him out?

And one more thing about Conor, I said it back when Edgar was a #1 contender...I don't think he's strong or big enough to take Conor down and he has shown that he is hittable...with Conor's distance, I think he would have worked Edgar over pretty easily. The only fighters with a chance are bigger 170'lber's, Ferguson and Khabib at the moment. I don't see any 145'er being able to handle his power.

Sounds like Woodley / Wonderboy II will happen next. Maia can either weight for the winner or take a fight.

Woodley says that he and his team will talk; doesn't know if he wants to give Wonderboy a rematch. Then he goes to name drop McGregor. Eddie had his pay day; I guess it Woodley's turn to try to talk a way into the payday. I don't see DFW caving to that. Woodley has some weird views on his fight tonight; the way he's talking it sounds like he thinks he dominated.

These journalists are fucking ridiculous. They're really trying to create some drama between Woodley and McGregor. Woodley is handling it well; says 99.9% of the fans are there for Conor so it would be stupid for him to try to flip that.

$17.7 million gate -- New MSG record

New UFC PPV record according to DFW. So this puts Conor in 3 of the top 4, right?

Weidman and Wonderboy on the podium now. Good to see The Chris alive. I think the game has passed him by though; if not, he needs to take as step back and build up some wins.

Conor had a few announcements to make but doesn't know if he should make them. He did just say that he is going to be a father early next year. He's going to take a little bit of time. He doesn't want his family in the media. Goes to show that his schtick goes against his personal persona.

McGregor: I'm aware of my worth. I want mine now. I'm coming for mine now if you want me back.

Lol, Conor sounds scared shitless about having a kid. Don't blame him.
