    Maybe not.

Pearl has implants and the NYAC won't let her fight because of that, but they are negotiating with the UFC right now to keep the fight on.

I know, Miesha Tate fought at 205, but they're saying that was before NYAC had "their shit together" which is a stretch.

Oof. What a bad finish to the Weidman/Mousasi fight.

DC gets his nose smashed but wins.

Rumble loses by RNC for the millionth time in his career. He was doing well but insisted on going for takedowns.

Only saw the main card fights...

Will Brooks has been a disappointment so far. I thought he was better than this. Is the pressure of being in the UFC too much?

Patrick Cote gave everything to the sport and has nothing left. Kudos to him.

Charles Oliveira and Thaigo Alves are similar fighters. Tough guys that the new UFC ownership probably won't value but you need gatekeepers. They hover between the B and A tier. If you beat them you are on your way.

Cynthia Calvillo looked great especially considering she fought a month or so ago. Her style might be a good one to match up with the elite of the division. Gonzales looked soft and slow.

Co-main was a very interesting fight up until the break. Weidman had a great first round but Mousasi was coming on in the second. I'd like to see these two rematch but over five rounds. Big Dan misinterpreted a knee to Weidman as a foul and gave him time to recover but the NYAC agents and doctors got involved and the fight was called off. Weidman insisted that the knee was a foul, Mousasi offered a rematch. It'll probably happen since the MW belt is held up at the moment anyways. HOWEVER, Anderson Silva is looking for an opponent and Chris Weidman could jump in. He's probably someone the Silva camp would accept. Silva/Weidman 3 and Rockhold/Mousasi actually doesn't seem that unlikely.

The main event was good while it lasted. Johnson put pressure on DC and broke his nose. However he went wrestling heavy and eventually got into the same damn spot he was in when they fought the first time. Total mental breakdown by Johnson. Afterwards DC took the opportunity to taunt Jimi Manuwa with Jon Jones looking on. Not sure why Manuwa was there since the UFC will pull out all the stops to have DC fight JJ in his return in the summertime.

Uneven card that might've been great had some fights panned out a little differently. Don't expect the buyrate to be super.

Chris Weidman plans to appeal his loss to Gegard Mousasi.

Because appeals are so frequently successful.

Forgot that Moose is a free agent.

Who knows what will come of this.

AJ will also appeal saying that DC didn't make weight.

I'm guessing this is more their manager's doing than theirs.

I believe AJ has said he's appealing because he wants 20% of DC's cut.
