    Bisping has a broken jockstrap

If it take sa while to remedy this will work to GSP's advantage

Nah they just shoved a loose cup into his pants, this seems like a worry

Reminiscent of Whitaker/Romero here with one being the more athletic, the other possibly having the fortitude and endurance.

GSP with some decent cuts in his forehead, looks to be affecting his vision

Spent about 2-minutes in Bisping's guard but was the worse for it

Damn, GSP seems to have a better power advantage at this weight.

Bisping is a tough mother fucker tho. GSP was lighting him up with punches

GSP gives a non-answer when asked if he'll stay at MW, some rambling nonsense about being a welterweight comfortable at his current size of middleweight

Easily a rival to UFC 205

    MSG is blessed

    GSP/Bobby Knuckles might be possible

Whittaker isn't a big middleweight having fought at welterweight previously

Knuckles, or I could see Anderson Silva getting a title shot if he beats Gastelum just because it was once a super fight that people desperately wanted.

Ok so that was a hell of a show!

I didn't see the early prelims or most of Gall/Brown. Looked like Gall needs to add some TDD.

OSP vs. Corey Anderson was a good back-and-forth bout. OSP has crazy power in his strikes but Anderson kept recovering and using his wrestling to control the fight. Going into the third it looked like 25/8 was going to win but OSP landed a left high kick and put him out cold. OSP has some of the best finishes. He's so raw as a fighter. Had he been training right out of college at a good camp he'd probably have won the belt by now.

Walked the dog during Godbeer/Harris and missed the fight. I posted a link to a clip somewhere earlier in this thread. The ref was trying to separate the fighters and Harris landed a high kick. Godbeer milked it and won by DQ but that is Harris' fuck-up.

Also missed most of Vick/Duffy but Vick's size and range seemed to give Duffy problems. TKO finish.

5/6 of the prelims were finishes.

Costa/Hendricks was better than it had any right to be with Hendricks fighting for his career. He looks like shit at MW but is still a tough MF. He threw some good shots at Costa and landed several combinations and leg kicks. Costa acted like he wasn't bothered at first but as the fight dragged on he started getting hurt a little. The guy's ego is obviously part of his fighting style which could be a problem when he runs into a ranked MW but for now he's too good for these journeymen types. The finishing sequence saw him land loads of unanswered kicks and punches as a dazed and frankly lost Hendricks threw desperate wingers then tried to cling to his leg for dear life before the stoppage. If Costa passes his drug tests he's in line for a big fight next.

Thompson/Masvidal saw Wonderboy pressing the action and letting his hands and kicks go. When he is aggressive he is a very classy fighter and Masvidal had nothing for him tonight. Masvidal good but not on Thompson's level. Thompson said he's still pursuing the belt, obviously, but he'll probably fight the winner of Lawler/RDA which goes down next month.

It felt like we we're only getting started and suddenly we're into the title fights.

JJ/Rose was shocking. JJ has been an absolute madwoman all week trying to intimidate a totally unfazed Thug Rose. Did anyone expect Rose to outstrike JJ? Just wild. Rose hurt JJ at least twice before the knockdown. At that point JJ (who has hardly been tested and has never lost) seemed to panic a little, probably because she was hurt bad enough that she couldn't continue, and tapped out. Still very composed after the fight Rose gave some speech about wanting to make the world a better place. Good luck to her in that endeavor but I'm seeing a rematch in 3-4 months.

Garbrandt/Dillashaw had a fight on fast-forward that was a pleasure to watch. Dillashaw's kicks were the difference maker. Shockingly Dillashaw was badly hurt at the very end of the first round but bounced back to win. TJ challenged Demetrious Johnson at 125-lbs. after the fight which to me sounds like a fine idea since there isn't a #1 contender in waiting right now. Cruz is fighting Jimmie Rivera next month in an eliminator but that could be a playoff to face Garbrandt for the next title shot instead. TJ vs. MM is fascinating since MM has hardly had a rival in his entire career. Now he actually has a feud going with a champion.

Shit, GSP vs. Bisping, too. Got to say I didn't fancy GSP in this one. As the fight wore on his take downs were working but his top control was ineffective and Bisping kept popping back up. Bisping's striking was getting sharper as the fight went on. GSP didn't look bad but he did look like he was slowing down in the second round. Had this fight gone all five rounds it would've been very close and with Bisping likely to win rounds 4-5 it would've been a controversy either way. Incredibly GSP landed a left hook that hit Bisping on the right temple and dropped him. GSP swarmed much like he did against Matt Hughes in their second fight landing a torrent of driving forearm-elbows and trying to get around Bisping's legs for better position. Eventually GSP worked to the side and Bisping, out of it, thought he had an opening to stand up. Instead GSP took his back, punched his way into the RNC position and blacked Bisping out.

Easily one of the UFC's best shows.

Imagine DFW saying the fans wouldn't remember GSP. I think they do, buddeh.
