DC loves pro wrestling
You're being worked, Jeff.
The new UFC and WME really left me with a sour taste in my mouth tonight. I don't know how much I am going to keep watching because this shit was straight garbage.
FIRST OF ALL...How do you disrespect Stipe like that? The dude has been a fucking warrior and the G.O.A.T HW champ for the UFC. He's never bitched and complained about his opponents, he's never disrespected his opponents. He's been constantly slighted by the UFC time after time; but tonight was pure garbage. How on earth do you not give that man an after fight interview? How on earth do you let Brock Lesnar call him a piece of shit? Stipe would 1-2 Brock to death. He would go spinning across the cage faster than he did against Cain. To let the main be disrespected like that to hype up some garbage WWE match for the New Year's card is trash. I feel bad for Stipe.
Second, DC's win was not even fucking legit. How many warnings does DC get for open fingers? He already got the fight stopped for one eye poke. The clinch before the KO? Another fucking eye poke. Two eye pokes, one directly leading to the KO shot. Just pure garbage and disrespect tonight. I feel bad for Stipe. I really fucking do. The dude was/is a warrior. He deserves an immediate rematch. With all of the immediate rematches we've had that were unwarranted, you're going to tell me that Stipe doesn't deserve one after being the longest reigning HW champ ever? Fuck you Dana. Fuck you UFC. Fuck you WME. Take your hollywood bullshit and shove it.
Get Jones back in there to take both fucking titles. Fuck Cormier.
I'm fully expecting Gus/Volkan to be for the "interim" 205 title now.
Herb Dean is not a good ref these days. DC went right back to pawing after the warning and poked or raked him right before the knock out like you said.
Marc Goddard was reffing; but I agree.
Herb was solid in the snooze fest co main though.
Ah, you're correct.
“I’m going to take some time, first. I’m going to go spend some time with my wife Selena and my kids and we’re able to do something and hang out a little bit, and we’ll decide,” Cormier said of his plans at UFC 226’s post-fight press conference. “But I’m at a point now where it’s going to be very difficult to fight a Curtis Blaydes or a — I don’t even know who’s coming up at 205, to be honest with you; I don’t really know who.
“Maybe Gustafsson fights well in August, but last time Gustafsson and I fought, we made no money. He’s got all these fans, but nobody buys pay-per-views. So it’s weird, do you want to go to war and make so much less money? I fight Brock Lesnar, I’m getting paid. So I want to fight fights that make sense, so this guy’s going to have to do something very special to earn a fight for the 205-pound belt and I’ll do it. I’ll go down and fight and wait for Brock. So I’ll fight again around November, I can fight again around March and be done.”
Sounds perfect for the Super Bowl weekend card.
