GSP mounts Hughes, takes his back, avoids Hughes' single-leg attempt and stuffs him, executes a beautiful judo throw that gets him into side control, then transitions from a reverse triangle to a kimura to an armbar for the win. Holy shit. GSP is amazing.

Went to see the fights at a bar last night, the Liddell and Silva fight was insane, no ground and pound just pure stand up punch for punch, I was surprised Silva didnt get knocked out with the beating Liddell was laying out on him. The main event was great as well but not as entertaining as the Silva/Liddell fight but it was great regardless as GSP (hes Canadian [IMG]) dominated the entire fight and took Hughes out with an arm bar.

Im not. Silva has a jaw of iron. I've seen him take serious blows and laugh. Chuck has power behind those arms and I'm sure he wished he took back the statement that "HE WOULD" knock Silva out.

The problem with Silva is he gets overly aggressive. He pays no attention to defense and will just throw with whomever he is fighting. Thats what makes his fights so exciting. He has no fear of any man.

I give chuck props. He didn't gas out like I thought he would and he landed some good shots especially in the 3rd. Wandy however is still my champ. The guy is a gamer and I love his style.
