    Lorenzo Fertitta just compared Conor McGregor to Mohammed Ali, saying he is the "Irish Ali".

    And Chael is the American Ali, and Rose Namajunas is Ronda Rousey, and Phillipe Nover is Anderson Silva.

    Yeah, pretty much. You don't see too many guys riding a loss into their first UFC bout.

    Strange that a guy who's 2-2 in the UFC (Hall) still has an aura.

    The UFC is just desperate to create any kind of (positive) buzz towards their company and MMA in general to get those PPV buys trending up again.

    The UFC is really hoping the AFC Championship Game in Foxborough will feed into the Fight Night audience. The timing is pretty good. The game starts at 7ET and the UFC at 10ET.

    McGregor didn't make good on his 2-minute prediction but he did look invincible and more or less annihilated the outmatched Siver. I'd love to see him fight Frank Edgar but the time is now for him to fight for the title so why not?

    If you guys weren't watching the Seahawks game earlier (and why the hell not?!), the FOX crew, specifically Joe Buck, repeatedly referred to Conor as "The Irish Mohammed Ali".

    Troy Aikman attempted to say he's been watching McGregor fight in the UFC and was impressed but came off like a horrible liar.

    McGregor vs. Aldo is going to be awesome.

    I like both fighters, but I think McGregor would be a better champion. DFW is targeting a May event in Vegas for the title fight.
