Ben Henderson will step in to fight Brandon Thatch, taking Cerrone's "anywhere, any time" lead.

    Awesome!

Related note: Cerrone was in Vegas and was going to fight Ty Woodley on 24-hours notice had Gastelum been forced to pull out.

Thatch has ten straight first round stoppages. Also, he's a big welterweight. Bendo has got his work cut out for him.

This event needs to happen ASAP. Everyone needs to move on from the shitty week we've had.

Not to mention that Bendo is fighting at altitude after what amounts to a several months long camp.

Thatch has been out for a while, though.

Didn't see much of this show but I'll try to elaborate on what little I witnessed...

Six fights is too many for a main card. The main event started at 1am ET.

Daniel Kelly vs. Patty Walsh was not something you would've seen on television a few years ago. The UFC is spread very thin at the moment.

Neil Magny needs a top-ten opponent. Brandon Thatch?

Mat Holloway is a fun fighter to watch. If Cole Miller had as much heart as he does attitude he'd have a more successful career.

Ben Henderson showed he was the more skilled fighter. Loads of beautiful body shots and dominating ground control. Thatch fought a bad fight overall. He repeatedly pushed Henderson to the cage only to let him off by throwing a long distance body kick or doing nothing. If this is how Thatch does against an elite lightweight I can't imagine him doing anything but worse against an elite welterweight. Kudos to Henderson who had his best performance in a while.

Bendo's oral fixation is obvious again tonight. Looks like he's chewing his toothpick as soon as the fight is stopped. He was fiddling with his mouth earlier in the fight as well. Seems the pick was in there the whole time.

I guess this means Ryan LaFlare is the only hot prospect left at 170?

Not having watched the show I didn't know how bad Neil Magny was fucked up when Mike Ricci hellbowed him. This was a scary KO.
