Honestly... all depends on whether the last second knee won Silva the third round. I think Bisping won the first two.

    Bisping wins.

Silva could've won, right? Does he just not want it?

    Where to start...

As you can see almost every fight went the distance tonight. All of the "main card" fights did.

Filthy Spud Brad Pickett took a split decision over Cisco Rivera. Could've been the fight of the night but they never seemed to hit high gear. Good performance for Pickett. Rivera is becoming an underachiever.

Next big British thing Tom Breese had a very Francis Carmont-esque performance. The fight was more like a grappling exhibition. He said he expects better from himself. Nakamura is whatever.

Thales Leites tried to recreate his infamous performance against Anderson Silva (one I had the displeasure of watching live in Montreal), running out of ideas against Mousasi and flopping around as the fight dragged on. Mousasi might be a more talented fighter than Michael Bisping who has (this week) been called the best fighter to never fight for a UFC title. Neither will Mousasi at this rate. Then he got irritated at the jeering fans afterwards. Not a good look.

The main event was a typical Anderson Silva circus. Silva bounced around and looked to counter in the first two rounds but didn't actually attempt much offense, ultimately conceding both rounds. Silva suffered a knockdown in the second that you would think would wake his ass up but no, he stuck to his game plan of hot dogging and fishing for something spectacular. In the third Bisping was cruising to another 10-9 when losing his mouthguard/gumshield caused him to lose focus (attempting to get Herb Dean to call a time-out) and he ate a totally fair flying knee at the last second. It surely would've ended the fight had the buzzer not gone off. Despite Herb Dean protesting with everyone within earshot that he hadn't stopped the fight, the Octagon flooded and Silva began celebrating. Several minutes later they managed to clear the ring and start the fourth round but Bisping was still hurt (though the extra recovery time certainly helped). In the last two rounds Silva landed strikes when he felt like it but never committed fully to trying to finish a visibly injured and worn down Bisping. In the post-fight interview he said he thought he had "completed the mission." A-level talent, B-level mentality from Silva tonight. Not the first time, either.

Have to feel good for Bisping. Biggest fight of his career, at home (sort of), walks away with the victory. Not inconceivable that he'll get a title shot after this. Problem is that Rockhold manhandled him last time so, I dunno, maybe DFW and the brass aren't so keen on giving it to him if Rockhold wins the Weidman rematch.

I hate to disparage Anderson Silva as a fighter but holy fuck his Wing Tsun bullshit was getting on everyone's tits tonight. He fights like he's played the game a million times and gets no joy from it.

Wow so apparently Ed Soares didn't translate what Anderson Silva said in the post-fight interview. Should've known when he started by saying "Basically..."

Didn't end up getting to watch it. I'll try to watch it sometime tomorrow. Silva can be really annoying in the ring sometimes, sounds like this match could have been one of those times.

Happy for Bisping though, I'd love to see him get a title shot before his career is over. Might be his last chance to do so. If Weidman wins, they definitely should book that fight.

Watched the fight. Silva celebrating when herb dean clearly did not call the fight was interesting......

Silva is so Damn frustrating to watch fight sometimes. Dude is obviously talented and has amazing physical traits, but sometimes you wonder wtf he is doing. Looks like his chin is weak now too.

These are the judges scorecards. I feel they scored it spot on. Nice to see it was unanimous amongst them too.

I scored it for Bisping, as well.

Hang them up Silva, you're tarnishing your legacy. What an embarrassment that was. There is no reason why he shouldn't have KO'd Bisping. Also, he got knocked down twice by Bisping. The chin is definitely gone.
