The UFC used a non-WADA testing facility in Hong Kong and did not have an athletic commission overseeing the process and, in hindsight, has decided that the testing process was not up to snuff--resulting in the reinstatement of Cung Le, who had been banned for one year following a positive test for elevated testosterone. Le had criticized the testing procedure after the positive result but did not formally dispute or challenge the findings. It seems that the UFC may have been looking into the matter internally and could've told him to cool his jets for the time being.
