So there are some differences. The tie-ups and clinching are really different and take some getting used to. Lots of fighting for underhooks, etc.. The ground game is a little more difficult--top position is easier to maintain. The feints in striking look useful but I haven't used them effectively, yet. Overall the game is still very similar to the last (which you'd expect).
The game is out today. Reviews are coming in for the game. All positive. Scoring an 89 at MetaCritic. The consensus is that it has improved on last year, expanded, but generally offers the same kind of expeirence.
Yeah, I thought twice about it and didn't pick it up. I'll be playing RDR for a long time, even after I complete it. Hunting is just so fun.
I picked it up on tuesday and I'm liking it so far, it's more difficult and more diverse than last year, but it's not like they can reinvent the wheel every year with sports titles. Personally my biggest hope was that they made create a fighter and career mode better, and so far from what I've played they've gone beyond my expectations.
bought the game 2 days after release, after the good reviews.. didnt buy the first one because first gen always have the kinks. i gotta say though after playing it for a day, this game got old quick.. shouldve waited until a price drop.. spending almost $70 on a game that doesnt have much replay value is a bummer.. might jump onto the RND bandwagon and see what the hype is all about..
