Soccer? Is that that game where a bunch of guys run up and down the field kicking a ball in the hopes of scoring once per game so that somebody can yell "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL?"

Well, there you go. I've learned something new and potentially ticked off an admin in my first morning here. Not a bad start.

lol don't make fun of soccer.

We call it football by the way, the real football where you use your feet to play, unlike the American football which uses hands 95% of the time. (with the ball that is)

    haha :)

Hi Ed, I came like you to see whats here. Seems to be getting better with your advent. ABM invited me, and probably got banned from BBF for doing so. Guess I owe him.(don't know what this means?)

CK is our commissioner for Football (soccer), he's just letting people know we have a very good community with lots of activity in that sport.

    Nobody's ticked off, it's funny!

Welcome to the forums... looks to be a great year to be a Blazers fan!

FYI, CK does not tick of easily.
he is easily one of the friendliest and most likeable guys on here though.

No, that's the game where Manu Ginobili and every other foreign NBA player polished their acting skills when they come close to another player.

I'll leave lawyer-ball to the Spurs. Flopping is the worst thing to happen to the NBA since the Kermit Washington/Rudy Tomjanovich incident ended the era of the designated goon.

Count me as one. I'm a lifelong Red Sox fan (which comes from my hatred of the Yanks), but my time in Chicago made me embrace the Cubbies as my National League team.

I agree we need to get mook over here posting. I also think Talkhard, Yega and even DaRizzle would be good additions to S2. I know many people didn't agree with Talkhard all the time but I actually think he made sense on many of the posts and would be good. DaRizzle was a pain sometimes but for a Laker fan was about as good as they come. What are we going to do with the OT- forum once the election is over without Yega.

I'm sure Jacoby_Ellsbury would love to have somebody else to talk to.

You smile; I cringe. Before the injuries, Sam Bowie was a terrific player. Instead, he was Walton, Part Deux.
