    Russia quit the UN Human Rights Council moments after being suspended for atrocities in Ukraine
    • The UN suspended Russia from its Human Rights Council on Thursday over atrocities in Ukraine.
    • Shortly after the vote, Russia's UN ambassador said it was quitting the council entirely.
    • Zelenskyy has since called on the UN to expel Russia from the Security Council, where it has veto power.

    At first, I felt some sympathy for the Russian troops being forced to fight in a war they CLAIMED they wanted no part of. But we keep seeing the atrocities and genocide the Russian troops are committing and they can all go to hell.

    Agreed. Any Russian troops engaging on behalf of Russia at this point are complicit at the very least.

    The only honorable solution for Russian troops is to defect and help Ukraine fight against Putin. There will never be a better opportunity for the people to take that country back than right now.

    They at least had a chance at it before Putin... But he took over all of the media not long after he took power and it was over.
