Putin has managed to distract the West with his Hamas attack on Israel and demoralize by promoting the idea that there is a stalemate and that he wants to negotiate.
    But
"The plain truth is that Russia can no longer win its war in Ukraine. Not with the force posture it has now, not with the tactics and leadership it has, and certainly not with the conscripted army of untrained convicts and mobniks that it is hustling onto the battlefield.
Russia desperately needs to distract the West, from comprehending the actual condition of Russian forces even as it grinds its own army to dust. It is critical at this point that the West continue and expand its support for Ukrainian forces."
These guys lay out the details of how russia is losing and point out how the only way Ukraine can lose is if West falls for Putin propaganda.

russia is losing an average of 1000 troops and 30 artillery systems every day. They are actually losing to a much smaller nation in a war of attrition.

So weird. Why did they need to do that?

Not sure if this one makes sense. Surely he could safely make a video recording, right?

Most likely, he refused to wear any clothes, so they had to put them on him digitally.

Another huge missile and drone attack on Kyiv and Kharkiv. 4 dead, hundreds injured. Ukraine shot down almost all drones and kinzhai hypersonic missiles but for some reason Patriot system cannot shoot down cruise missiles,

    All numbers are aprx.

The Patriot missile travels at 5,000 km per hour, and is designed to take down fast moving jets and ballistic missiles.

Cruise missiles travel at 800 km per hour. They make up for their slow speed by being far more maneuverable than the Patriot missile, and able to fly below radar altitude until close to the target.

It takes several types of air defense systems to handle every threat.

You're absolutely right about the cruise missiles flying below radar. I did some research which said they are practically skimming the ground. I think the Gepards from Germany would be good at shooting them down but one would need an awful lot of them. Ukraine has a fair amount of them and also something called Hawks I think.

House Republicans said any aid to Ukraine is contingent on passing immigration restrictions. They also said they would block passage of any immigration law because passing a law would help Biden.

These particular missiles are a real problem. Ukraine has shot down zero of some 300 launched. They need long range missiles and authorization to use against air bases deep in russia. Unfortunately I see alost zero chance of that happening.

It is vital to replenish Ukraine's air defenses, but more important to destroy the launchers they are defending against and to win and end Russia's war of aggression. Playing only defense against Russia, Iran, North Korea, China, and "neutral" profiteers is costing lives.
The weapons needed to liberate Ukraine from Russian invaders are sitting in warehouses across NATO. Putin knows this, so assumes NATO nation leaders are too afraid to challenge him. That’s what led to this war and what will lead to its expansion beyond Ukraine if it continues.
