I think it'll be much less of a problem than you may fear.

Again, the ignorant fools who would do that are on Putin's side.

My oldest daughter sent me this. Its embarrassing to be honest. I would think she would be coached not to chuckle when diplomatically answering questions. I know she didn't mean disrespect but I think it could be perceived that way while beingasked about refugee's.

What's the situation now? Ukrainian forces holding steady, especially in the North (they don't have enough forces to hold Russia out of the cities in the South for much longer). As you probably know there is a lost of passive resistance in the few cities occupied by Russia. They have done a lot of damage to Russian forces in the north. There is some surprise at how many tanks and other military vehicles still in running condition, that have been abandoned by the Russians. The consensus seems to be moving towards the conclusion that Ukraine will win this war but it will be long and bloody before final victory.
A couple concerns right now, Russia threatening to bring in mercenaries from Middle East, but I'm not sure if any substantial forces will be coming. Russian bombers have bombed a small Belarussian city and blaming on Ukraine, apparently hoping to bring Belarus forces into the war. Also there is some intelligence that Russia may blow up Chernobyl and try to blame it on Ukraine.
I will post this article from WAPO, hope you have a free view left. Good big view of military situation. https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...russia-military-ukraine-battlefield-progress/

Fossil fuels are bad. We should not be using fossil fuel for anergy any longer.

I wish we would have voted in a president who understands this...

Fossil fuels might be bad, but if you want to keep pace with the rest of the world you better use it. We need to explore and develop viable energy alternatives, but until that is done DRILL BABY DRILL!

We have viable energy alternatives and don't need fossil fuels to keep up with anybody. Fossil fuels hold us back.

We need an immediate plan to transition away from fossil fuel as fast as possible.

Hydrogen and biofuels can fill every niche battery and electric can't.

Man, they had some GREAT deals on the Hydrogen Fueled Toyotas like a year ago. Like around 20k for a $50k car.

As a long term fuel source, yes, absolutely. If we have to drill for it.

I'm ok with it if we are just collecting from natural vents. But we don't need it.

Sorry dude, but I don't think that's possible. At least not for 15-20 years...perhaps longer.

Cars aren't a good use case for hydrogen. It's just not as efficient as battery electric.

But for ships and aircraft we'll probably need hydrogen and biofuels.

There aren't that many stations, but there was actually one of the stations about a mile from me in LA.
