Buildings settle, there are cracks and gaps in the foundation. It could have gotten in from where a wall meets the floor, holes drilled for repair to plumbing or electrical in the locker room. It wouldn't have to knock on a door and slither down a hall to get into the locker room. There are a ton of ways it could have gotten in. The bigger question is if it was a baby/younger snake is there a new snake den in or near the arena. There are always mice and rats in arenas, snakes like mice and rats. There might be more than one snake in that arena.
So it's just a coincidence that this happens once every century and it's...the playoffs. I'm sure someone DID put it there intentionally. Here's a better article. The snake was silver and black, Spurs colors. http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...trail-blazers-find-snake-visitors-locker-room
But honestly... What kind of an effect do you feel this has on you if you are walking into the lockerroom 'locked in' and ready to roll? How many of you feel this effected them last night on the court?
Fans going to tomorrow's game should bring rubber snakes! Especially if you have seats around the Spurs bench.
Word around here is that was a rat snake. It doesn't look like it to me though, but I do know it wasn't a rattle snake. Lol The AT&T Center is right next (literally) to Joe Freeman Coliseum where we have the big rodeo once a year. It's basically a big barn. There's a lot of snakes around there that help keep the rats at bay.
Why, of all times, did this happen in a playoff game? Why not in the far more numerous regular season games, or in some other event like a rock concert or ice skating or something?
Is every rodeo snake silver and black? Aren't most all black, or all green, or orange and yellow, or Blazer colors, etc.?
The players said that it hissed at them. Don't San and Spurs start with S? This thing was trained like a parrot. What was it trying to thay?
If Stotts were a good coach, he would have had them fired up and angry about this. Instead, he treated it like a joke. What a lost opportunity. And you're kind of crazy on the subject of conspiracies. You keep talking about them without enjoying them.
If this was a young snake, where was the mother, the father, the cousins, the whole tribe? Where there's one, there should be more. Unless it was planted there.
