<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple N Gold:</div><div class="quote_post">LOL, you make the topic called "Unbrekable Records" and then name a record that you think is breakable. A little confusion here? [IMG]

Anyway, the blocks record for 17 in one game. I forgot who did it, I think the last name was Smith or something, someone clear that up for me.</div>

well,if you woulda actually looked at what it said "Unbreakable Records?" with a question mark there would be no confusion. [IMG] The '?' denotes a question not a statement.

Yeah my bad, I actually didn't mean it to notMuchgame, the topic starter. I accidently clicked the 2nd page and "TheHitman" was the first post in there, meant that for him.

    1. Wilt's scoring record of 100 points in a game...and over 100 50-point games...
    2. Stockton's assist and steals records

100 points in one game is just ridiculous, I don't think that can ever be touched. You have to be extremely dominate, or extremely HOT, but 100 is still a lot. Thats 50 FG's, you can say some FT's but still. How many shots would you have to launch?

As for triple double in a season... it can still come, its not impossible.

I would also like to add Wilt's 23,000+ career rebounds...no one will break that [IMG]

What about 10 steals in a game by Allen Iverson???
Thats really hard to get. Not alot of teams can get that many. The closes to 10 steals is 8 by Rick Barry,Lionel Hollins,Maurice Cheeks,Craig Hodges,Tim Hardaway (twice) and Mookie Blaylock.

As for the 100 points in a game. It's possible. But you have to go into like 4 overtimes. That's what wilt did.
As for the triple double thing. That's possible as well.
As for the 10 steals in a game that's breakable.
    IMO

10 steals is breakable but 100 I honestly cannot see anyone at all touching....ever

Averaging a triple double is impossible as well(Sorry Lebron groupies). Times were different back then, people were scoring a lot more and the three pointer wasn't there either so everyone was taking their shots inside or closer to the basket at least.

The only way I see someone averaging a triple double for the year is when he gets the triple double in his first game of the season.....and then he is injured for the rest of the season. In other words, Grant Hill is possible record breaker.

I think anything is possible if you put your mind on it and give the effort but for the 100pts thing the coaches probably wouldnt let you shoot that many shots. The triple double thing is possible but you will need a great player take can pass, rebound and shot.

The record is 11 by Kendall Gill and Larry Kenon. Gill did it in 1999... So, It's breakable...

I'm not sure about #2... if another point guard comes along with the longevity of stockton, we may see that one broken. but it will take years. the ones playing the game right now i don't see breaking it.

another one that will take a lot of years to break... look at my signature. i don't think malone gets there.

Wilt's 23000+ boards in his career and his 55boards in a game are the hardest to break... 100 points is possible in a game with 3-4 overtimes when it's a great shooter who's on a stroke the entire game... The triple-double will never be achieved again... 10-10-10 in a season is just impossible... Except if you're 7-1 with the athletic skills of Jason Kidd...

    1) No...Never...

2)...Bron averaging a Triple Double? Maybe Rounded up. Doubt it. If anything it will be a rounded up TD. Nothing else.

Dag I thought Horry had 12 steals in a game. But I don't see that anywhere in his highs. Could've swore he did that.

Jordan would kill Chamberlain if they were both in their prime, Chamberlain's stats were a lot better thats because of his size and skills, everyone knew what to do to stop him but just cant cause of his size...... but no one knew how to stop Jordan, he will just knock one on your face.... so Jordan can work on the outside and prolly get some steals off him too
