Given that Portland made the WCF's, how many 'Quality' FA's wil they sign?

  1. 2-3: Veterans want to play for a winner!

  2. 1: There just isn't enough money to go around and Bartelstein will have unsigned clients

  3. 0: Portland doesn't sign 'Quality' FA's.

I know it worked out last year but splitting it isn't much more than vet minimum contracts anyway so I'd rather just get guys for that and sign one guy to the Tax-MLE.

Would you sign any of those guys over Kanter or Hood?

Taj, Markieff, and Rondo? If I could get Kanter or Hood for the tax MLE I’d take either one over the other three.

Me too. I'd immediately offer Hood first then Kanter then Rondo then Taj. I'd probably wait a bit after that.

This! That is one reason I like Collins even though he is a foul-prone hacker, he brings some 'nasty' to the floor when he plays. Most of the Blazers are a little too nice for the most part.

Would O'Quinn really not get any more than the vet minimum?

Is it poor form to copy/pasted subscription-based articles here? In this case, The Athletic. Quick has a list of potential FA's.

No but he’s clueless when it comes to who Portland should target. He literally lists javale McGee and Nerlens Noel. If they were looking at such players they may as well just bring back ed Davis. He’s dumb.

Was reading your post and i immediately went back to Napier. He has a year left on his contract at 1.8 mil. Had some hamstring problems last year and he limited to 56 games but his numbers aren't bad. The one thing i have noticed is most players shoot worse from 3 point when they leave the Blazers? Like others he went from around 37% to 33%. I think some of that has to do with the offense but you can't really say it's because the attention Dame got because they were not on the court together most of the time?
I really think this team is one SF or PF that has to be guarded at the Arc away from being really good.

It's not poor form if you give the article it's due. The thing with the Athletic is it's subscription and the fact people do not want to give Quick any clicks.

How about Austin Rivers as a FA pg.
Tough, can shoot and dish, decent D.
We need a legit bu pg.

In the respect that he’s objectively below average. He has a career PER of 10 and has graded out as a below replacement level player for his career. Beyond that he’s a below average shooter and passer. He’s not good.
