If you think about it, the Spurs and in the past 2 years the Warriors have done the same.

Who thought all those odds and ends GSW picked up would work so well?
And the Spurs always find gold late in the draft - yes, they lucked into Duncan but also saw in Parker and Ginobili what others missed.

Pat Bev. (I think Houston is going to go hard after Dragic.

Brandan Wright was pretty awesome for Dallas last year before they traded him.

Gerald Green would be a nice wing addition.

Sergio is available this summer

I was wondering about Embiid too. I can't see them dumping him without him playing a minute for them, but then, maybe they're worried that once he does the market for him will evaporate. Also, the only thing their GM wants is picks, picks, picks and we don't have many of them.

Would you give up CJ and Leonard for Embiid? Or is that a silly question?

He seems like the obvious candidate for "next Draymond Green/DeMarre Carroll" now that scrappy tweeners are having a moment.

Really opposed to this. He hasn't been the total bust he was supposed to be, but he's still a totally me-first isolation player. Like Gerald Green, he's a guy who looks good in small doses but whom coaches will hate.

He's played well, certainly, but he looks so scrawny. He's much more offensively versatile than Lopez, but Lopez is the better defender by far, and that's sort of what we want. Remember: he worked out with Meyers when we brought Leonard in, and (I think Mike Rice reported) Leonard "destroyed" him.

People are mentioning Kosta Koufos - is he a FA? He certainly looked good against us, and (like the entire Memphis team, it seems, which sort of undermines this) has a very good DRPM. Also, these two MUST be reunited:

I was a bit hyped on Gerald Green but the more I looked the more of a big time chucker I thought he was, much prefer the Danny version of "Green"

I think Green is gonna get paid. Most likely out of our price range.

I would bring back Sergio. He can't be worse than Blake at this point in his career.

Koufus I think is a pretty good defender, he might be a good value pick up especially if Rolo wants big bucks

Please remove Lin from these lists! He might be the worst TEAM player in the league. We lose the Houston series last year if he doesn't hog the ball every second he's on the floor. And to think Houston was supposed to struggle this year without him.

I think he could be a good fit as a backup 3 for us.... ALthough I am leaning more towards really needing a scrappy hustle guy.

Anthony Bennett: Both teams have tried to turn him into a SF. Still very raw. He should be developed to his strengths - low-post/attacking the hoop. He's undersized but he's identical in height/length to Paul Milsap, only much more athletic. Long-term project. Not close to being a rotation player. Atmosphere of a winning team would serve him well. Low trade value currently.

He could have a Z-bo type game in the right situation.

I think Brandon Wright would be the perfect bench backup center especially next to Leonard. I think Gerald Green would fit as well
