I hate to agree with a lions fan, but maybe he made post from home and not on a road computer and has chance of being right

Going by the before mentioned rule of "if you beat a team badly once than you are doomed to repeat that fate everytime you play them for the rest of the season", the Bills must have destroyed the Patriots on saturday....

Oh yeah that was a pretty impressive Green Bay win being the Broncos sat out their starting quarterback, running back, full back, tight end, wide receiver, offensive tackle, offensive guard, kick returner, and starting corner back and one defensive tackle.

Hey Zackman and BearsFan1 did your team make the playoffs? I didn't think so. Zackman talk to me when you guys finally win one on the road. And BearsFan1 as soon as you stop watching your 1985 Chicago Bears yearbook video, you can check the Chicago courts to see if they lifted your restraining order and start mailing Ditka again to beg him to come back to coaching the Bears. Just make sure you get him a "How to draft in the NFL for dummies" book, so he won't be tempted to give away all his picks for another running back.

Oh how silly of me to make my statement when I clearly should have noticed Buffalo and Denver are exactly alike. I should have known since Denver won the first time they have no chance at all and should just tell the league it's a lost cause so just give Indy a bye week also.

Maybe Zackman can explain to me why he thinks the Broncos should have played their starters today, I am so holding my breath for his fine insight being he's had to watch a much more superior team in Detroit all year.

I guess the Broncos are doomed to beat the Colts again, just like the Bears are doomed to miss the playoffs AGAIN, right BearsFan1?

Thanks for the tips guys, I clearly lost my head and should realize Manning will knock that loser label he likes carrying around since his days with Tennessee.

Good points BF about my bears not making playoffs, that definately proves that i, who had no actual invovlement in that result, knows nothing about football and can't possible be right about who will win a playoff game. If only i had realized this obvious blight upon my name and shut my mouth up instead of saying that the #3 see in the playoffs would beat the #6 seed who got in solely on a tie-breaker. I will continue to on my previous point . . . keys to winning in postseason . . QB - manning vs plummer, manning can do everything plummer is erratic, and not as good on road. 2 run defense . . broncos have the colts here, but intensity should help negate a little of the disadvantage 3 running the ball broncos again have the advantage if portis is healthy, but edge will see less men in the box, and finally turnovers, which will favor indy because manning(MVP) seems to have stopped throwing picks, he will shed the loser label, beat the broncos, i predict win the super bowl, and MVP and charles woodson will feel obligated to give him the heisman trophy which he deserved more

Chip, I owe you an apology. I reread my earlier post and I don't like the way it came out. I wasn't trying to put down Catholic practices. I was trying to poke fun at my ignorance of Catholic practices. I certainly didn't mean to open the door for any Catholic bashing. Anyways, I'm sorry.

    Dale, not a problem.

    1. I am not easily offended. And your comments didn't seem offensive anyway.
    2. I've been in recovery for many years, so not really a Catholic anyway.

    Just a little bit beef...LOL

But let me ask you this, wouldn't you be a little bit confident if your team dismantled a team two weeks before you face them again in the playoffs?

Let me explain why I think the Broncos have a chance and if you still think I am full of crap then ok.

Denver can run the ball and run the ball very well against the Colts. They did not have Portis the first time which made the win pretty impressive. If the Colts put all their focus on trying to stop Portis two things are going to happen. The first thing is they are going to be left with unfavorable match ups againts Denver's WR's and TE's. The second thing is if Portis somehow breaks through the 8 man front, there will be alot of open field for him to run. And with Denver having great blocking WR's you can be sure he will have some decent long runs on Sunday.

Denver's defense can hold their own against alot of the offenses in the NFL and I think they are one of a few teams that are great at making adjustments during the course of a game. The defense doesn't have alot of great individual star players but they play great together and I think that is what matters most.

Manning can deny it all he wants until he is blue in the face. For whatever reason he struggles in what are considered big games. He has all the talent but I think he puts too much pressure on himself and his teammates. The game against Denver the Colts needed the win for their division title, once things started going the Broncos way he often looked rattled. This past Sunday their offense struggled again with the Texans.

I think the Broncos defense can stop Manning and Co. for a second time and I know the Broncos can run the ball effectively. Plummer has won a playoff road game before against Dallas. I think he can do it again, only now he has a better team to go deeper in the playoffs.

Ya I'll give you that but his feet will be stuck in the mud of foxboro if they do escape INDY. You can't bootleg belichick to death like they did INDY. It was sad watching dungy send that same tired old cover 2 out there to get shreded by bootleg slants. They had to have run that play about 100 times it seemed off the run.

What I find interesting is that not only did the Broncos play Oakland and San Diego twice, they got to play the very weak NFC North. That's half their games! Here's the telling part, 1-3 vs. the NFC North!
And they barley beat the Lions in Denver. My point is it was a total fluke they beat the Colts in Indy. Miami and Green Bay are a much better 10-6 teams in my opinion.

Green Bay maybe but Miami lacks the offense. When Plummer plays the broncos are a pretty good team capable of scoring on anyone. You also failed to mention they played KC twice. That definitely counts for something along with beating the colts and almost beating the pats without plummer.

The defense has also played decent for not having to really good LB's. The one thing I want to know is what happend to Deltha O'neal? I thought he was this up and coming corner and now he doesn't start and even is playing a little receiver.

You are right Zackman, the Broncos did struggle to beat Detroit and struggled and lost to Chicago. The reason? I don't know. But some some reason the Broncos play better teams stronger, is it playing down to someone or just taking you guys lighty. Trust me, I was pissed watching those games because Denver just sucked big time against Detroit and Chicago. As for Green Bay, if the Broncos didn't whimp out and play their starters, I think they could have beaten the Packers. It was only 10-0 at halftime. After the half Shanahan sat down more defensive players and the Packers took advantage.

Deltha O'Neal's major problem was his success coming too fast for him. People don't realize he only played DB his junior and senior year at Cal. I think he is trying too hard and trying to make great plays and he's getting burned. He should just let the game come to him and just let his athletic ability take over. The resaon Shanahan hasn't let this kid go because when he does have the ball in his hands he can do some special things, which is why they moved him to WR for now.

Ya I was surprised to see him at receiver I didn't realize it got bad so fast for him. How much are you guys missing Tyrone Poole right now? Man I'm glad he didn't retire again like he was going to in preseason.
