That video has nothing to do with 99% of the people in the background. I suppose he thinks that means all marines are bad because of Oswald and all Presidents are bad because of Bush. And what does race have to do with this? We also have no information about the situation. Why does the video start there? Where is the beginning? What kind of provocations were being hurled around? That one guy in the leather jacket looked absolutely thrilled to be punched, like Code Pink being arrested. I suspect he was looking for trouble from the beginning. See, we can all speculate about motives.
I'm good with unions. It's a Natural Right that we have the right to freely associate with those we choose. There's no law that should be lawful to prohibit people from banding together and bargaining collectively. It is what Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale did one year with the dodgers ("we're a package deal"). I'm perfectly fine with getting together to protest, to go on strike, and so on. Where I draw the line is when a union would force me to associate with it, where the workplace is a democracy and 50%+1 votes forces the remainder to join the union, the taking of dues from people who don't want to be part of the union, and that sort of thing.
