what more should I say? I don't remember enough about the whole situation to allocate blame, and I don't make things up or rely on fifteen second internet searches. FEMA clearly didn't do its job, and the federal government wasn't prepared for the aftermath. Whether the Louisiana government also didn't do its job properly isn't something I feel comfortable commenting on. Incidentally, a whole bunch of federal agencies worked very hard in the aftermath of Katrina to ensure that vital services were restored to the area. This isn't a question of the dedication of federal workers, just federal leadership.
