It definitely seems like they've been sitting on Colt until now to catch Zona off guard. I had no idea he could run the ball like that. There's no doubt in my mind that he's an NFL starting caliber player. Dude might even go in the first round if he keeps this up.

Props to the defense. Amazing game.

DAT was super quiet but the offense didn't play especially well overall. Just never really found a rhythm until the end. Still, I think it was a learning experience and I think we definitely benefited from this game. Seemed like a confidence booster.

fortunately (if we stay undefeated) #1 and #2 play eachother so thats a guaranteed loss. Stay undefeated and we get to #2 at least.

I think they should put Colt in at RB more. Make him a giant white DAT.

Also, Oregon is bound to leapfrog LSU now. LSU struggled against a crappy Auburn team and their QB situation is in peril. Oregon beat a top 25 team and shut them out.

Then again, LSU may go down to #4 if FSU leapfrogs them. That was a game.

See this? This is why I was fucking pissed when USC was ranked #1 preseason and we were ranked #4.

Doesn't really matter. As long as we're within striking distance at the start of the season, there is plenty of time to climb the ladder. Still a ton of season left to play, and there's still a good chance we'll take a loss or two of our own.

I was surprised as well. Now we have our power runner. He's also big and fast enough to be a great blocker. The possibilities with him and either Barner or DAT in the backfield is sick.

The media ranks teams based on past history.

And I suppose you can't just rank a team "bowl ineligible due to NCAA violations" in pre-season.

RB was his primary offensive position in a prolific HS career

Him paired with Bennett & 3-4 wideouts to spread out the D isn't so bad either... I hope/suspect we'll continue to see that especially in the red zone

Does anyone have a handle on that dance # that Colt and Bennett did going into the endzone? Was that a scripted play or did both want the TD stat?

I think without luck, we'd have won 35-17. We'd still be in third. But, it's not like Chip Kelly is going to let the team pat themselves on the back either.
