A guy named William Abel is on tonight. An older guy. Plays a nice guitar but from one who is watching and who knows next to jack about music) wonders how he'd be if he really put some serious effort into it. That horse is probably out of the corral at his age. But he's still very enjoyable. White folk's electric blues..........
I rarely go to a show now sadly. If I have a friend performing or a national act I like come through I will but my "man about town days" are over."
Tonight I will be heading to Vancouver's Cascade Bar and Grill to see a friends band play, Jackfoolery, and they are opening for a Deep Purple Tribute Band. Anyone in the couv should come down and have a beer. Never seen the tribute band, but Jackfoolery is pretty damned good.
In Nashville currently. Broadway is jammed packed as the Predators are in the NHL playoffs. Every bar is jammed packed and I've seen at least 4 bands so far. And it's only 4 pm. If the Predators win it's gonna get even crazier. This town is awesome! And so is the music.
Dammit!! I was talking to some people who were hanging out at our rehearsal last night and trying to compare Soundgarden tooo.. Dammit, whats that bands name.... Ughh. And I never rembmered it... until now... Soundgarden killed it much more FYI.
Comparing Queensryche to Soundgarden? I don't hear it (except maybe Cornell vs Tate....a little). Love both bands though.
One is more raw and real and the other is more produced. I was trying to provide the two as an example of how we are more raw like Soundgarden than produced like Queensryche. This person was from Seattle, so I thought it a great reference, until I couldn't think of one of the bands' names. lol.

I've seen him at Coachella, in Hawaii twice and at the Gorge Ampitheatre. He gets some really hot girls out there and is a good time overall.
