The UFC wants to put together Woodley vs. Lombard but the more I think about that fight the more I think it would resemble Woodley/Mein, with Woodley trying to blanket him and avoid striking.

Bisping vs. Rockhold announced for Australia show

Rockhold has told Bisping he'll give him his whole purse if he doesn't knock him out or submit him in the first round

The shit talking between these two could reach Stank Bref-ian levels.

Weidman is injured and will be out for several more months. His fight with Belfort has been pushed back.

The UFC is hoping Hendricks/Lawler 2 can take place at UFC 181 in it's place.

RDS (Québécois version of ESPN) reported that GSP had made up his mind to return for one more fight. GSP says his mind isn't made up yet.

Would LOVE this news if it were true... gotta wonder who he would consider coming back for if it's a one and done deal.

He has said before that if he were to come back it would be for a superfight.

I don't want him to, though.

Hopefully Rory gets the title. That'd put an end to GSP's comeback talk.

A fight with Hendricks/Lawler winner? A fight with Weidman?

I don't think he would fight Chris Weidman. They have trained together and are both students of Renzo Gracie. He wouldn't want to steal his limelight; not to mention the fact Weidman is a lot bigger than St-Pierre.

Jon Jones is much too big to fight GSP. Jones is huge compared to most LHW's.

I don't think he has anything to gain by beating Hendricks or Lawler. I doubt he would want to fire up another title run.

My guess is he would come back only to fight in a one-off against Anderson Silva. Seems like Nick Diaz beat him to the punch supposing he isn't in jail by then. IIRC he has pleaded not guilty to the most recent charges meaning if he is found guilty he will get a more severe punishment than if he had taken a plea.

I would say the odds of this happening are not good. He's had more knee problems since quitting. I think he is done.

No fighter ever really retires but injuries and chronic problems can do one in.

Dan Henderson is open to fighting Jacare at UFC 182.

Jacare should be next in line for a title shot but a win over Hendo would really solidify his status as the top contender after Vitor Belfort.

Conor McGregor will knock out Denis Siver at Fight Night 59. Obviously a step down in competition but it keeps McG busy and keeps his hype train rolling until Aldo/Mendes is available.

Weidman/Belfort and Rousey/Zingano planned for 184. Rousey/Zingano was to headline the NYE show in Vegas but not anymore (without any reason given).

Putting Rousey/Zingano on that card reeks of "Plan B"
