    Rumor going around some small MMA sites that GSP is close to an agreement to fight Conor @ the NYC card.

    I don't buy it. I don't think DFW wants his cash cow to be dry humped for 5 rounds. I think we are going to get GSP back @ the Toronto or the New Year's card and we're going to get Conor/Eddie @ NYC.

    Maia - should be waiting for a title shot not risking his career in a one-off against GSP
    Woodley - should be fighting Wonderboy
    Diaz - not the ideal fight for GSP but the best option of the three, disrupts the division the least, gets GSP a test before throwing him into the mix, and it is the ticket seller of the three

    Apparently GSP revealed that they haven't come to terms on a new fight contract. He has called his terms 'reasonable' but the UFC have not accepted. In fact they aren't communicating with his agent at all.

    Cart before the horse when talking opponents, it seems.

    Not sure how many iterations the UFC owes FS1 but this thing is looking dead in the water.
