    Wasn't it reported a while back that sometimes when people are announced "out due to injury" it means they tested positive? Not saying its for sure what happened but now that Carwin has been linked its hard not to think that. He said on his blog hes having back problems though and may need surgery. Best case he won't need the surgery and will be out 8-12 weeks.

    Nelson vs. Mir would be a good fight IMO. Nelson-Lesnar is more of a mismatch but Lesnar-anyone-not-named-Carwin-or-Cain probably is. Still fairly interesting though given that we've seen Brock exposed a little bit and lately Roy has been doing well standing up and would obviously have the advantage on the ground. Only thing Nelson-Rothwell has going for it is that Roy can avenge his IFL loss. BTW Rothwell and Mir are coming off wins while Roy is coming off a loss so maybe Lesnar is most likely but then again Rothwell and Mir's victories aren't exactly propelling them into the title picture. Sadly it seems like Mir-Lesnar III could happen.

    I really wonder what the UFC master plan for Nelson is? Feeding him to someone like Brock or Carwin suggests that they have no hope for his future, and are just using him as cannon fodder. Seems like a waste, as Nelson seems to be a likable cuss that the fans can get behind.

    I hate the fact that the UFC didn't have an interim LHW belt, Shogun blew his knee out...again...he said he might not even come back for a title fight right away..he might need a tune up fight...so that means Rashad could be shelved even longer.
