    Tim Kennedy (37) has announced his retirement from MMA.

    The guy has a few irons in the fire in terms of post-MMA career. Thought things through.

    Rashad Evans wanted to fight Anderson Silva. Silva wanted more time. Suddenly, Silva was booked to fight Brunson. Evans thinks Silva didn't want to fight him.

    Likewise, Mousasi tried to get the fight with Silva, but the UFC told him his name wasn't big enough (?!). Brunson's is?

    Evans wants to fight in Buffalo. He's from Niagara Falls. He's concerned that the NYAC won't let him, though.

    Sounds like it.

    However I think the UFC is finding it much harder to book fights, lately.

    They don't have Joe Silva anymore. Silva was ruthless with fighters, frequently threatening them, booking them against harder opponents if they refused, freezing fighters out (like Cole Miller), etc.

    Combined with the fact that fighters all want more money and the flailing Reebok deal it's probably a pain in the ass to get guys to sign agreements.

    Specifically regarding the top middleweights, Bisping/Romero isn't booked, Weidman is taking time off, Rockhold is injured, Jacare is booked, Silva is handpicking opponents, and Mousasi doesn't want to fight a fighter ranked below him. Not much wiggle room.

    Rumblings that the UFC will announce that the main event for their upcoming show in London will be Jimi Manuwa vs. Corey Anderson. Unhappy British fans over this one.

    Nate Diaz, who said he only wanted to fight Conor McGregor and only for $20MM, is complaining that the UFC isn't giving him fights.

    Related- Nick Diaz is coming back "soon". Diaz has turned down at least two fights (Condit, Lawler). Not sure what they offered him to say yes.

    The biggest draw would be either Chris Weidman in New York or Yoel Romero in Miami, right?

    If the UFC offers Nick Diaz a fight he will say "no." That's what he says yet DFW says that Nick will be fighting soon.

    The Diaz Bros. have had wonderful careers despite trying to sabotage themselves at every turn.

    The UFC are celebrating a new television deal with a provider in the Middle East and North Africa. The Middle East especially is an MMA hotbed right now. This is the first bit of business that WME-IMG have done since the purchase.

    They still have zero interest in communicating with the fighters.
