    Kind of like the fight. High risk for Belfort but it will be good to see Hall fight someone who will force him to be active.

    Ordinarily I would agree, but after how little output Belfort had against Marquardt I don't know how active Hall will have to be against Belfort to win. Belfort is an aging fighter who I don't think wants to engage anymore.

    UFC planning to unify the MW title in Perth at UFC 221 in early February.

    If it's GSP that's a goddamn huge fight and one that is long deserved by Aussie fans.

    Woodley is trying to intercept this fight and is insisting he's next for the winner, which makes negative sense.

    Why wouldn't the UFC unify the MW belt given the opportunity? Why would they muddy the waters further by having a welterweight champion fight an interim middleweight champion?

    Usman claims Colby Covington was offered Meek's spot and declined.

    Covington's win over Maia means more than a win over Usman. Usman is a rising contender in the division but has no name recognition.

    Erik Perez has left the UFC to sign with Combate Americas.

    Perez (7-2 UFC) is coming off of three wins but hasn't had a finish in five or so years. Still, only 27 and isn't the UFC still trying to make it big in Mexico?

    USADA has flagged Judo Jim Wallhead.

    UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Jim Wallhead of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on October 7, 2017.

    USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case involving Wallhead. Under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full and fair legal process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. Additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.

    I'm just getting around to watching Bellator 186. Overshadowed by the UFC event this weekend, but Bellator quietly put on a solid show this weekend as well. Almost every fight was entertaining, besides the Phil Davis fight that was a typical Phil Davis fight. Bader and Vassell was some quality MMA I thought.
