Can't complain since at least they are keeping the division moving forward and not trying to gum up the title picture.

Now Bisping is winding people up over this. I can't imagine this is the fight he really wants.

Rockhold wants to move up to LHW (presuming DC beats Miocic) but would do the rubber match first.

Jose Aldo wants to fight Jeremy Stephens at UFC 224.

As a fan I would like to see it.

If I were booking their fights I wouldn't want this. No need to derail a potential title contender in Stephens since the fight doesn't seem to benefit Aldo very much.

Looks like Rashad won't be fighting Bisping. Anthony Smith at UFC 225 booked.

Lionheart had his three-fight win streak snapped by Thiago Santos in February.

Shad is on a four-fight tailspin and if he loses this one I imagine the UFC will give him his walking papers. Not the best way to end a career.

Wouldn't shock me to see him pop up in Bellator for a money rematch with Rampage at some point.

Rory wants to fight at Bellator 200 and also wants to face the winner of Moose/Carvalho. Carvalho has agreed and Moose has basically agreed saying he'd kick Rory's ass.

Bellator 200 is in May and features the Moose/Carvalho headliner, Nelson/Cro Cop, Phil Davis/Linton Vassell, and MVP/David Rickels.

Lima/Koreshkov is already booked so I suppose Rory would have to face Lorenz Larkin or maybe Shlemenko?

Putting Rory on this card would make it a supercard for Bellator and possibly a PPV.

Maybe they can squeeze Meathead into Cro Cop's spot on this. Apparently Mitrione accused Nelson of cheating in their last fight. Nelson responded by saying "I do not cheat in MMA, but Matt Mitrione cheats on his wife."......... So....shots fired.

Maybe they can revisit it if Meathead gets beat out of the tournament?

Rockhold says "sign da ting" to Bisping who denies having a bout agreement.

I hope they do. Seems like drama that would make for a fun presser and weigh in.

On a side note, I feel like Bellator has kind of screwed up this tournament by the length between fights. There will end up being nearly four months in between the opening first round fight and the final first round fight. At this rate the tournament will end up taking until probably the summer or fall of 2018 to finish. That is just way too long for a tournament to keep anyone's attention.

DJ/Henry 2 will co-headline UFC 225 behind Whittaker/Romero 2. This is also the CM Punk event.

This is the kind of big show that DJ has been pining for.

I'm not upset that the superfight isn't happening. Seems like the UFC is pulling back on fucking every division up.

Word is that the UFC is punishing TJ for not taking the Cody fight on short notice. They want him to fight Cody ASAP instead of giving him the chance to be a double champion.

Even without Joe Silva the UFC is still petty AF.

As long as Dana is there the UFC will always be that kind of petty. The good news is no matter how petty he is Dana will always give way to big money. If he thought DJ and TJ would do big money he would book it no matter his ego. Guys like Tito and Couture got plenty of chances because of the money. The bad news is there is not a lot of guys with Tito and Randy drawing power these days.

This fight is bananas. Yes all day to this.

    Card so far...

    Whittaker/Romero
    (DJ/Cejudo?)
    Overeem/Blaydes
    Punk/(Mike Jackson?)
    Arlovski/Tuivasa

    Benavidez/Pettis
    Gadelha/Esparza
    Coulter/Crowder
    Evans/Smith

Stacking this one up for Chicago.

I have never liked Bisping, especially after the Jorge Rivera thing, but I kind of look back on his career with a certain level of fondness in hindsight. Dude was always willing to fight the best of the best even when you thought they may be on the juice like Vitor. He had a habit of rising to the occasion and putting on competitive fights against guys I thought would steam roll him like Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva, both of whom were probably on the juice themselves in hindsight. I can appreciate that. So if we get a Bisping/Rockhold 3 I'm gonna cheer for Bisping for the first time in his career.

The UFC are going to Liverpool at the end of May with Darren Till in the main event slot (no opponent yet but he has called out Wonderboy).

If Bisping wants a final fight this would be the place for it.
