Until I see one of the Diaz brothers step in the cage I won't believe it's happening.

Roxy is pushing the idea that missing weight should result in a round one single point deduction in addition to the fine. Sounds fair.

After thinking on it this does sound fair. If a guy like Lineker, who always fails weigh-ins, makes $10,000 to show and $10,000 to win, taking 20% is all of $4,000. So the fighter still takes home most of his win bonus after flagrantly breaking the rules. If you take a point that could end up impacting his win/loss record and he not getting the whole win bonus.

I am for it as long as it only applies to people who have a full fight camp. In a Lobov/Johnson situation I would say it wouldn't be fair to take a point.

Should increase the fine to 50% of his show up pay, 30% of any possible win bonus as well

Tito and Liddell seems like it is a go for the weekend. They just dropped the price to $39.99. I work for the cable company and get half off PPV. For $20 I may buy it.

Frank Trigg is currently a ref for an under card fight on the Lidell/Ortiz PPV. I had no clue he was a referee these days.

Edit: Well I'll be damned, Chris Leben is also a ref tonight.

Can't believe I paid money for Ortiz/Lidell. It was just Lidell circling the cage for half the round trying to stay away and Ortiz accidentally landing a right straight to finish Chuck.

The CSAC should be dismantled for sanctioning that. Chuck looked like he was moving in slow motion.

Maybe not true. Adesanya apparently doesn't see the point in the fight. UFC might be leaking it to try and entice the fighters to sign.

Pretty dangerous fight for Ortiz. Hendo will carry knockout power into his 70s. I would actually pay to see that.

Tyson Fury got fucking robbed. I am so sick of boxing. I feel heartbroken for him. Coming back from addiction, massive weight gain, and mental health issues to completely school Wilder to have some paid off incompetent rat fuck judge screw you out of a decision. He survived two massive punches...the only two punches worth a damn for Wilder.

If I was Fury, I'd say fuck a rematch...give him Anthony Joshua and then retire.

Reports coming out that UFC will add 165 after the UFC 233 in Anaheim. I'm going to assume that will be Ben Askren's weight class.

Jones has nothing left to prove at LHW. I'm all for him going into the boxing world and trying his hand there. He's smart...he knows he is the 2nd biggest MMA name behind Conor...he wants to cash in before his career is over. Conor gets a lot of shit for being money oriented; but fuck it...these promotors and organizations aren't looking out for the fighters. I hope Jones can crossover into the boxing world. I would be very interested in seeing him over there. He's already the GOAT at LHW; maybe even ever.

It would be interesting to see I guess, but I just do not see Jones boxing Wilder or Joshua as being a good idea for him. I can't see either boxer feeding Jones rounds like Mayweather did for Conor, and dude does not have one punch knockout power even without gloves on so the idea of him accidentally catching and dropping one of them is pretty low. Plus I'm pretty sure both boxers are bigger. The chances of possibly taking a savage beating from one of those two would be pretty high.

The UFC will debut Greg Hardy on ESPN on January 19th. Rachel Ostovich, domestic violence survivor, also slated to be on that card. Kudos to the UFC for not only signing that piece of shit Hardy but rubbing Ostovich's nose in it.
