    The UFC has released former WFW champion Nicco Montano.

    Montano won TUF then was off for about a year and a half before finally returning to lose to Julianna Pena. She hasn't fought since and was booked to fight at the last event but missed weight badly.

    Seemed like she never wanted it.

    AJ McKee is a legit Bad ass. Unfortunately, he is in Michael Chandler territory. Damn good fighter, clearly one of the top fighters at his weight class in the world. Won't be able to show it until his mid 30s due to the Bellator contract.

    This is about as close the UFC gets to making a good poster in 2021. Lots of colour, no goddamn flags, no disembodied torsos or photoshopped belts.

    However Lauren Murphy's photo makes her look a little insane and their attempt at getting Diaz and Lawler to "face off" has them on awkward planes.

    My buddy and I used to do wrestling moves on each other all the time as kids. Boston crab. Figure 4. Sharpshooter. Etc.

    One day he got me in a Boston crab and was really yanking on me. He kept saying "tap out! Tap out!" I wouldn't do it. The next thing he knew I passed out and my mom walked in. She yelled at him to get off of me.

    Haha. Awesome times. I ended up popping blood vessels in my face from that. My face looked fucked up for a few days before things went back to normal.

    Probably a week or two back I got around to watching the Joe Rogan podcast with Izzy on it. That dude is so thoughtful and smart. Made me a whole new fan of his.

    Maybe it was the format Joe uses, but Adesanya was not trying to hype or sell anything and came off different than what I was used to with Izzy. Told a story about getting bullied and learning to fight as a result. Other stuff like that. I was impressed.

    Demian Maia and Jimmie Rivera are both likely done with the UFC, having finished their deals. Both guys were very close to championship level at points in their careers. Maia's win over Sonnen was a legendary performance but he lost his title fights with Silva and Woodley. Rivera beat Munhoz, Alcantara, Faber, and Almeida in a four fight stretch before losing to Moraes.
