    As expected, Gustafsson will main event the Sweden card. Little Nog announced has his opponent. Big fight for The Mauler.

    Hendo has rejected the UFC's offer to fight Little Nog (hence why Nog is facing Gustafsson). The idea was the winner of that fight facing the winner of Evans/Davis. Since Jones is Jonsing (yeah I know) for a fight maybe Hendo thinks he can get it before the winner of Evans/Davis is ready. Or maybe he thinks he should be fighting for the title and not earning his shot with a qualifier against Little Nog or anyone else. Who knows?

    Its a high risk/low reward situation for Hendo. What does he have to gain? Avenge a loss on his record if he wins? If he loses, he has to work his way back to a title shot...and at his age, that might not happen. I think he's content with waiting for Jones or Silva to come available. Its not like he has to fight for the money or anything. I think he's banking on Rashad not being ready after his fight with Phil or Jones wanting a fight before Rashad could be ready. I don't know if Evans could be ready by 145...which is the rumored event that Dana wants to book Jones to headline.

    Its almost insulting to propose a Hendo-Lil Nog fight. Hendo is the SF champ coming off of Babalu, Cavalcante, Fedor, and Shogun wins. Lil Nog just beat Tito but lost UDs to Phil Davis and Bader and won a very controbersial split decision over Brilz, who is now not on the UFC roster. How are they a match at all?

    Hendo and Rashad are the only contenders at 205. Making Hendo wait to fight the winner of Rashad-Phil Davis seems unecessary but if I'm Hendo I'd do the same thing; there is no logical reason why Lil Nog deserves a fight against him. Give Hendo JJ or give him the winner of Evans/Davis. Hes more than earned either.

    Kenny Florian has been asked to sit beside Jon Anik at the commentary table as part of the UFC broadcast "b-team" that will call live events on FX and Fuel TV. Florian's ongoing back problems could push him to retire from fighting.

    UFC 145 won't be in Montreal. Scheduling conflicts have pushed it back to April 11th. The new venue is the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
