    ^ Now word is out that the Gracie signing reports may have been premature. That sounds probable.


    In other news, the UFC's attempts to get an outdoor stadium in Sao Paulo for Silva/Sonnen 2 have fallen apart. The stadiums in Brazil are, by in large, being renovated for the upcoming World Cup, and the only one available to them in the city has a lot of red tape around it. Sounds like they might have to go back to the HSBC.

    In addition to Silva/Sonnen 2, the finals of the Brazilian version of TUF (featherweight & middleweight) and the coaches fight (Wand vs. Vitor) are also expected for UFC 147 in Brazil (tba).

    The UFC is working to put on an event at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary this July, tentatively numbered UFC 149.

    Shogun says he wants to fight Rampage. Rampage wants to fight him. Shogun says that the fight could happen in the middle of the year. I'm predicting July 4 weekend.

    Tim Sylvia is working the internet to try and get himself back into the UFC. Dana White isn't keen on the idea. For some reason he's getting some support from fans on the UG.

    The guy talked some trash on the UFC when he signed with Affliction, which wasn't really a good idea considering his last three UFC fights were losses to Big Nog and Couture, and a wall-and-stall win over Brandon Vera.

    Also, six of his last seven fights have been at super heavyweight, at least partially because he's not really even trying to be 265-lbs. anymore.

    The door is open for Fedor to return to Strikeforce now that DFW is out of the Strikeforce business, but he doesn't want to have to fight his bro Josh Barnett.

    Despite making a bet to drop to 205 lbs, Roy Nelson has accepted a fight against Antonio Silva. Big Country vs Big Foot scheduled for the main card @ 146. This card is shaping up nicely, with Overeem/Dos Santos headlining.
