    Got to think he wants to take advantage of Johnson's lousy TDD and sub defense.

    Schaub is 0-3 against guys nicknamed Big (Nelson, Nog, and Rothwell). Guess he thinks he can break the curse against Big Johnson.

    Evans/Gustafsson is a great matchup and should definitely suggest where Gustaffson is in the LHW division. Is he ready to move up to the big time or no? What's going on with Phil Davis, btw? Anything lined up with him?

    Cormier should dismantle Silva and then I'd imagine he moves over to the UFC. This is his last fight on his SF contract.

    Ellenberger/Koscheck should be an awesome fight. Their wrestling should negate each other and Kos has a hell of a chin. He's really going to test Jake's chin.

    So much for this. Rumour has it they were negotiating but it didn't work out.

    Didn't make sense for Sylvia to sign with Strikeforce when they are eliminating their HW division.

    Chris Weidman, 9-0, is the default top contender at middleweight now with Lombard's failure to launch on Saturday.

    Michael Bisping could vault him with a win over Brian Stann at UFC 152 but that would push Anderson Silva's title defense back until at least the NYE show or later.

    Four wins in a row for Tim Boetsch puts him in a good spot but he will likely need to beat a guy like Alan Belcher to really get into the title picture. Belcher also has four wins in a row at middleweight but has taken four years to amass them due to injury. Belcher could be riding a seven fight winning streak if not for a controversial decision loss to Yoshi Akiyama at UFC 100.

    Weidman is one hell of a talent and for sure a title contender, but I think he's far too green for Silva. I think Silva will pick him apart on the feet.

    Great fight.

    They are already aiming for JDS/Cain 2 and Aldo/Koch so I doubt Ando will be on this one. Especially since nobody is sold on Weidman as the top contender.

    I actually like that fight. Cormier might not have the KO power to put Mir to sleep, but he's got the wrestling to control him. Will Mir be able to utilize his BJJ?
