    Carano hasn't fought in several years, at Rousey's weight for several more than that. It wouldn't shock me to see the UFC make it a title fight just to juice up the marketing but it seems unlikely to me at this point. Rousey has said she'd fight her at catch-weight. Honestly I think it would be a quick and pointless affair but short of rushing Holm into contention or somehow getting Cyborg involved I'm not sure what they can do in that division. Zingano is next in line but she was probably losing to Tate until the third round so I don't know if she'd fare any better.

    I think he was going to have surgery but won't on account of this fight. He has a partially damaged ACL and torn LCL.

    The UFC now has an Olympic gold medalist on it's roster in 125-lb. standout Henry Cejudo, who will face Scotty Jorgensen at UFC 177.

    Cejudo is the best flyweight prospect--period. The 27-year old has struggled to make weight but has an unblemished 6-0 record in MMA.

    Bobby Green's won eight fights in a row and just beat the #3 ranked lightweight in the UFC so naturally they're matching him up against #14 Jorge Masvidal at UFC 178.

    The LW division is such a gong show right now.

    The JJ/DC PPV is supposedly getting a "huge" co-main event. Seems early for Diaz and the UFC hasn't sorted things out with Gina Carano. Your guess is as good as mine.

    Pretty much leaves Shogun, Gusto, and the winner of Bader/OSP for him to fight. He'll never fight Evans.

    Rumours on Sherdog suggest it could be Cowboy Cerrone vs. Eddie Alvarez, which would be a fucking great fight. Lots of obstacles to overcome to make that happen, though.

    UFC lightweight Mark Bocek, 32, has retired. Bocek was 12-5 in MMA, 8-5 in the UFC. Bocek was always a favourite of the UFC not only for being the original BJJ coach of Dana White and the Fertitta's but for his professionalism and willingness to fight on short notice. The Toronto native was a two time Submission of the Night winner who was never finished in a fight.
