What does that have to do with you saying the season was over a month ago, but the Blazers are now tied for sixth seed. You still think the season is over? Go Blazers
errr just like you make it sound (in multiple threads) that the season is completely over and a lost cause? mate, just enjoy the success of the team for once in your life.
It's funny cause more then half the board said season was over as well when it came to playoff predictions. I at least had the guts to start a thread about it. The stretch was brutal and we were playing like shit. Was it crazy? And um personally the low point of this season to me was losing 4 in a row back in late November on that eastern trip. We all thought this team was in serious serious trouble. Then Aldridge woke up.
Actually, it kind of did! If LMA hadn't stepped into the breach, where do you think this team would be?
You had the guts to start a thread about the sky falling yet again???? Pretty much every one of your daily doomsday threads has been countered by many posters... own the egg on your face. I only chime in on every 20th one or so, that doesn't mean I'm in agreement the other 19 times STOMP
Speaking of the upcoming schedule, we're catching NOH, LAL, and DEN all on the second night of their back to backs. And we're playing ATL after DEN which will be their 4th game in 6 nights. Plus, this four game stretch for us will be spread out in 11 days. Although we're playing better teams, we're finally catching some breaks.
exactly. Those schedule breaks were working against Portland early on so it's evening out btw... now 22-11 without Roy this year or winning 67%. Projected over a full season thats a 55 win pace which would rank among the elite teams in the league and best Blazer seasons ever. I know trade talk is a lot of fun for some, but being realistic I don't see management trying to fix whats kicking ass unless it's with a peripheral trade (Joel, picks) or something that knocks their socks off STOMP
