Matt Serra vs. Matt Hughes is expected to take place either in late April (UFC 97) or in May (UFC 98).
If GSP can get past BJ Penn without serious injury, expect to see St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves at UFC 97 in Montreal. Other expected participants are Patrick Cote (if he is healed), Jonathan Goulet, Sam Stout, and Jason MacDonald (predictably).
UFC 96 adds Jim Miller vs. Gray "Perfect Circle" Maynard UFC 96 also adds a thriller in Dustin "McLovin" Hazelett vs. Ben "Killer B" Saunders
hell yeah.. I don't know who to root for either! both are fighters I really think could be very good.
The first of these mentioned fighters, Jonathan Goulet, has been added to the UFC 97 card. He will fight Tamdan "The Barn Cat" McCrory who has too many goddamned C's and R's in his name.
After a little bit of push and pull, the UFC has agreed with Spike TV to air UFC 95 on television rather than PPV. Maybe it has something to do with Joe Silva crafting one of the weakest cards possible?
Lesnar vs. Mir @ UFC 97 is likely. White said that if Liddell wins his next fight, he could possibly face Anderson Silva after. Rich Franklin doesn't want to coach TUF. White would welcome back CroCop to the UFC with open arms.
Shane "They're sucking each others dicks" Nelson vs. Aaron Riley for UFC 96. David Bielkheden vs. TBA at UFC 96, also.
Keith Jardine vs. Luis Cane at UFC 97. That one could be a catapult into the title picture for Cane, or some redemption for The Dean of Mean.
Alessio Sakara can't go for UFN 17 so Dan Miller is stepping into his spot. The Millers are always good for last minute replacements.
dang! this went from an easy fight to pick to a very difficult one... Young stud Rosholt is being welcomed to the UFC in grand fashion!
