I think Bisping can run and gun against Wand like he did against Leben, but I don't see this fight happening off the heels of Bisping's KO. Seems smarter for him to take an easier opponent.
Wandy is the best at swarming fighters, IMO. I don't see how Bisping can run from him all fight long.
Tito vs. Franklin @ 103? Anyone else read the few articles saying Tito made amends with Dana? I'm looking for them.
I would watch Franklin/Ortiz. I would even be pretty happy if Ortiz came back to the UFC. The guy is still serviceable and would further bolster the deep 205 division.
Tito's just trying to keep his name out there. He's said he's signed with Affliction, EliteXC, Strikeforce, etc.. I'll believe it when it happens,
GSP won't need surgery for his groin injury, so odds are good he'll be ready to face the winner of Swick/Kampmann at the NYE show (Jan. 2nd).
The UFC has sorted out it's issues with a show in Hawaii and could go there in 2010. The Aloha Stadium would be the most likely venue--at over 50,000 seats it could break attendance records for the UFC if they do it there.
Matt Hamill is injured and will be replaced by Soszynski at UFC 102 vs. Brandon Vera. Still an interesting fight.
I so hope it happens. If Wandy loses to Bisping, he needs to hang it up. But after Bisping's jaw has been cracked, he should have a glass chin now. Wandy should be able to destroy that thing.
Well according to Joe Silva's manager, these rumors aren't true. Supposedly, Wandy wants time off until February 2010 to heal his body, mind, and to attend to his gym.
