I don't think there is anyone in that supporting cast they want.

To make the contracts match up would also complicate this.

He'll be winning so he should be happy. There will be plenty of touches for him to get his scoring opportunities.

With Kobe too? I do think his numbers would take a hit.

    Bosh's Usage rate is 27-29%.

Based on championship usage patterns, and our 5th option, he would have some things to rework.

I truly believe Bosh is more than willing to sacrifice some of his offense if it means winning a championship.

No because Cleveland doesn't have anyone attractive to offer to Toronto plus Cleveland isn't on Bosh's wish list.

    5th option?

If the Lakers acquired Bosh it would allow Kobe to defer more on offense and play the facilitator role. Bynum averaged 15/8 on 10 FGAs per game. Bosh could easily average his 20/10 playing alongside Kobe & Pau.

Only two championship teams have had Bosh usage rate as a #3. In order to do this, they needed a fifth option that defers much more than our fifth option. Bosh should need a usage rate of about 25% to average 20 points, hard to do that as a #3.

Kobe should defer more, we'll have to see how that works out. If he averages what he usually does Bosh won't be happy possibly. Overall we'd win titles, but I just think Bosh would be happier winning titles elsewhere. If we allow him to fit in though, then I'd be wrong.

What makes you assume he'd be happier winning titles elsewhere?

Bosh is not an idiot. He knows his role will be different playing alongside Kobe & Gasol. How do you he doesn't welcome playing a smaller role without the pressure of carrying a struggling franchise? Maybe he has the mentality of Lamar Odom and could careless about his stats and is focused more on winning.

Kobe likes to hover at about 32%, if that maintains and Pau gets his touches, Bosh's current game doesn't fit.

The last time Bosh deferred enough to play on this hypothetical LA team, he was 20-21 years old. He could still have fun here. I just think he would have more fun as a clear second option.
