I think the reasons Tyrus and Noah look shaky has more to do with Tyrus and Noah than anything VDN has done. 33% shooting is brutal to the point where the presence or absence of good coaching probably has little to do with it. Noah actually worries me. He looks like he took the summer off and is trying to play himself into shape. For a young guy on a young team that's 'finding its way' I think that can really set you back. Realistically, I think it means that this season is going to be a bad one for him, which in turn will have bad implications for his future on the team. At worst, it could soil his stay with the team for the rest of his rookie contract and result in him going somewhere else if the spillover effects are particularly harsh.
