UTEP junior guard Lee Moore has decided to forego his remaining year of college eligibility and will not return to the Miner basketball program, head coach Tim Floyd announced on Monday.

It leaves two vacancies in the starting backcourt that coach Floyd and his staff will look to fill during the April signing period. Earvin Morris, who averaged 13.4 ppg last season, has exhausted his college eligibility.

“Lee has decided to turn pro,” Floyd said. “We hope he has made the right decision and we wish him the best. This opens up a second starting perimeter spot on our team.
