The surreal atmosphere of unstable people owning and carting guns on the street under legal rules takes this into another dimension.

Looking like my niece will be renting a big boat on Lake Washington while we're there in late July. Not quite sure what type of boat, but should be fun. We were supposed to go up to a resort on one of the San Juan's, but I guess it hasn't fully opened. I'm a little bummed about that. I was planning on bringing my bigfoot detector.

I always brought super decadent dessert with me and had dinner with cousin and his husband. They just told me they gave up sugar.

    I feel unloved.

    Vegas Update:
    • Ubers and Lyft are a mess still. Airport rides are flat rate, I'd suggest that if you have any kind of wait.
    • Uber from Wynn to Fremont Street were about 40 bucks each way. Normal fare is about 15 bucks, we only saw that rate once, but we were upstairs.
    • Everything on the strip is way way overpriced. They aren't trying to lure you back with "deals".
    • Crowds are still ghetto. Even the fucking wynn smelled like Weed smoke.
    • Also smelled like Clove Cigarettes everywhere.
    • There were a lot of East Coast guidos. They look like cartoon characters in their overly fancy suits and indoor sunglasses. Holy fuck, now I remember why I avoided the holiday weekends (Jersey shore and NYers tend to invade on long weekends).
    • Encore is way nicer than the Wynn. Rooms are way bigger, less people around too.
    • There are way way too many people on Fremont Street. Just a sea of people, walking around aimlessly. Long lines for drinks at the bars outside the casinos.

Thanks for the update. It's pretty much as I expected, especially the over-priced part. I booked a room at the Trump in August. Much better deal than the Strip properties. I'll probably spend what I'm saving on the room on Uber rides though.

Nah I don’t really gamble. Only gamble on March Madness. I love Vegas just for partying.

Heading over in a few hours to The Cove P to camp, fish and boat in great weather. Got the old man down rigger (electric) and wedding rings ready to rip some lips.
    Summer has arrived.

In the process of booking a month in Mexico this winter. 10 days all inclusive in Cancun with lots of family over Christmas and New Years. Then some of us are moving on to San Miguel De Allende for a few weeks of recovery from Cancun. Anyone ever been to San Miguel? Ive heard it's pretty awesome.

Just made it back from My daughter and I spending two days in Yellowstone. We saw 18 wolves, 5 grizzly, one was sow with two cubs we saw her both days and 5 adult black bears and 6 cubs. The cubs were all twins. We also saw tons of elk, bison, pronghorn. It was a great two days.

If you have some Gibbs minnows in pink and white. When you see the kokes jumping, drift over and jib the minnows. They will hammer them. Great way to keep people who get bored fishing entertained because they are always doing something.
