That's the jersey! I really think those are sharp! I've never been to London but I have friends from there that told me the Indian food is amazing in that city...
It is, but the wifey hates Indian food, so no chance. I had it last time I was there, really good stuff. London is really nice, Christmas lights everywhere, good vibes.
It was decent. We went there directly upon arriving in town. Could only get a 3:30 reservation, so it was a late lunch. I had a salad because we were going to Wicked that same night and knew we'd be eating dinner later. Pretty over-priced food, but that was to be expected considering the location and history of the restaurant. My wife's turnip soup was incredible. All in all a B+ experience. That said, our best meal was at Fraunces Tavern, which is the oldest continuously operated restaurant/bar in the US. George Washington gave his farewell speech following the Revolutionary War from the 2nd floor balcony of this building. It's in the Financial District. Looked to be a watering hole for Wall St. types. The food was amazing: https://nylandmarks.org/explore-ny/...:~:text=Fraunces Tavern is,Revolution in 1907.
Old farts here. We're gonna see Billy Joel in January @ Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ft. Lauderdale. Never been there. heard the venue is amazing.
As they should. Besides, I lived in Atlanta for 12 years so I'm well versed on that particular maneuver.
Eh, better when they had Sigfried and Roy. Hard Rock is legendary. On the strip they may crack down on the debauchery
Direct flights from PDX to London starting again on 6/03/22 on British Airways, 5 days a week. There are some reasonable deals at the moment, might have to take advantage next year. If I can convert some airmiles on it we could try business. I've always wanted to do a long haul sleeper.
Heading to Hawaii in 10 days for 10 days. Was there two weeks ago for all that crazy rain! Didn't do a damned thing besides eat/drink at local restaurants and chillax. It was a pretty nice trip, actually. Took a night drive up to the volcano, but it's not quite as active right now as it was a couple months ago.
We are preparing for our big trip of the year. I'll be in Mexico for a month. Cancun for the holidays at an all inclusive, then some of us are going to San Miguel De Allende for a few more weeks. Has anyone been to San Miguel before? I've heard lots of good things and am pretty excited to check it out.
