    Yeah, Europe will be cold.

Check average rainfall. Your best bet would be in the Southern Hemisphere.

Still in the planning stage, but we are thinking 5-7 days.

    Cartel action has escalated lately.

But maybe it will be all over by January.

Turks and Caicos was on our list of possible honeymoon destinations too. It looks pretty sweet.

I think the best time for the South Pacific is May to October, but January is probably nice enough. I've been to Fiji a long time ago and had an amazing time. I just booked tickets for my wedding trip to Tahiti for May. Tahiti and Bora Bora are kind of the honeymooners mecca, but I am finding it's stupid expensive. Some of the non Bora Bora islands are pretty affordable. Your trip time is perfect for the Maldives however and that is pretty much neck and neck with Tahiti as far as romantic goes. If the travel is paid for and you don't mind an epically long trip than the Maldives would be my vote. You can break it up and do some shopping in Dubai on the way.

Playa mujeres or isla mujeres in Cancun is the best. Went to Hawaii for my honeymoon and much preferred the trip to Cancun. Especially if you plan on consuming massive amounts of alcohol. All-inclusive is the way to go.

Do not plan on drinking any alcohol, actually.

Not sure my previous posts insinuated I would be pounding drinks. Quite the opposite.

We're both working on being in prime, baby making, shape

Pounding drinks is fun in Mexico, but it is beautiful in Cancun too. Never been to a nicer resort in my life. Even if you just want to partake in random drinks and try things, mexico is good.

Good luck on the baby making. I didn't get to have much fun this last time. Got her pregnant in one go. Just found out i'm having a boy a week or so ago.

Well, maybe the most important thing - no matter what you've heard, there aren't actually any razor blades in there. Try not to think about the razor blades.
