I'm spending a week with my family in central France this summer where I'm looking forward to some fine meals and wine. I'm also really looking forward to a 12 hour layover in Amsterdam where I plan on taking in the Van Gogh museum.

I am semi-obsessed with the High Sierras and will be making as many weekend pilgrimages as possible. The attached pix are from a loop hike last summer out of the Mineral King trailhead

Hiking doesn't do it for me. I need alcohol, great weather and a pool.

You can get all those things on a hike, if you plan correctly.

ha! The only drug I might be on there is 5 hour energy as my layover is on the first leg of my vaca. I'm leaving SF 2PM and landing in Amsterdam at midnight our time/9AM their time. If I were to smoke pot I'd sleepwalk through the exhibit and then pass out on the first park bench I saw probably missing my next flight.

Actually, if anyone wants to recommend an over the counter sleep aid that will knock me out for my initial flight so I can be alert for the museum I'd appreciate it. I was thinking of taking a benadryl as thats knocked me out pretty good when I've taken it for allergies but there is probably something better

I've never taken it... is there any sort of after affect haze? Again, I hope to just be knocked out for the flight and then as alert/clear-headed as possible. Thanks

It's just acetaminophen (tylenol) and diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that is the active ingredient in Benadryl and other allergy medications. I have never noticed any after affect.

Planning a trip to one of the most secret, secluded yet incredibly beautiful lakes in Oregon with my family for some water skiing, wakeboarding, etc

A few more in the works as well but nothing confirmed yet
