A trade for VC would be most likely in Portland and New Orleans. The Bulls don't need VC right now. I don't think this trade will go through. I was still hoping for the trade with Portland to go through. PS. If anyone remembers me, I'm back I guess. But I won't be making anymore graphics.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Dunkzilla20:</div><div class="quote_post">He obiecent... No i agree that chicago wouldnt trade Luol but if Wilt Chamberlain,,,Kareem Abdul jabbar and Shaq can be traded...LUOL DENG can certainely be traded</div> I said LIKE THIS, as in this deal for Vince that involves Luol would never happen.
If any trade would happen it might look something like this: Vince Carter & Jalen Rose and possible someone else to the Blazers. Bulls send Eddy Curry, and/or Eric Piatkowski, and/or Othella Harrington, and/or possibly Ben Gordon or a future draft pick to the Raptors. Blazers send Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Derek Anderson, and whom ever else they fancy to the Bulls. maybe even Theo Ratliff Bulls would look like: C Tyson Chandler PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (where he is most comfortable playing which is at the PF position) SF Loul Deng or Andres Nocioni SG Derek Anderson or Ben Gordon PG Kirk Hinrich Blazers would look like this: C Theo Ratliff PF Zach Randolph SF Vince Carter SG Jalen Rose PG Damon Stoudamire Raptors would look like: C Eddy Curry PF Chris Bosh SF Morris Peterson or Donyell Marshall or Lamond Murray... whatever! SG Milt Palacio/Morris Peterson PG Rafer Alston this isn't an exact science and i am not 100% about anything. This is what I have heard... so who knows really. I know for sure though, Vince Carter wants out, Rapotrs dont want Jalen. Chris Bosh wants to be the Power Forward and they need a good or decent big man = Eddy Curry. Rapotors believe Rafer Alston and Bosh are their future, not Carter and Rose. Shareef wants to play PF again. Bulls well... yep.
I would do Vince for Eddy in a heartbeat. Eddy's inconsistent, but his career might be revitalized just like Vince's.

Vince to Hornets??? There has been a <u>LOT</u> of trade rumors with the Hornets lately... One of them is: Baron Davis Jamal Magloir (maybe another one) for Vince Carter Jalen Rose Jerom Moiso (maybe another one) ----------------------------------------- Pg-Rafer Alston Sg-Baron Davis Sf-Donyell Marshall(yes, he plays the 3) Pf-Chris Bosh C-Jamal Magloir I would make it in a flash...100%
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Before the game, league and media sources out West indicated the Raptors and New Orleans Hornets have broached the subject of a possible multi-player transaction that would send Carter, Jalen Rose and at least one other lower-salaried player to the Hornets for Toronto native Jamaal Magloire, P.J. Brown and two or three other players -- all for salary-matching purposes. Some draft picks might be involved, too</div> http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Basketball/NBA/T.../09/775177.html the trade would almost definitly include mashburn not just for salary purposes...but since the hornets in obvious rebuild mode are desperate to get his contract off the books
i would do any trade with the hornets involving both magloire and davis for vince carter and jalen rose + fill-ins
Jamal magloire and pj brown would help the raps out tremendously. the only downfall i see of this trade is the fact that P.J. has been in the league for 11 years. But i believe the "big cat" Magloire would help the raps frontcourt tremendously. Bosh and Magloire sounds scary to me. along with rafer, mo pete, donyell, and loren woods the raps would be heading in the right direction. As for the hornets it is for certain they need something to turn their season around and maybe this could be just that. The hornets backcourt would be legit. with baron, vince and jalen. bu there frontcourt would be very weak. all in all i say go for it. because the hornets need some vet gaurds and the raps are loaded. And both of these teams need to rebuild and develop a core.

But even so, I'm still not sure if I'd do it, only because I like how Alston's been playing so far and it'd suck to see him coming off the bench. Maybe we could get another team involved so we could trade BD and receive two decent guards. Of all the VC trade scenerios, this is the one I like the most. Anything involving us getting a legitimate center in return is okay with me (just as long as we don't have to give up TOO much of course).
bd can play the 2 C-Hier Canada Magloire PF-CB4 SF-MoPete SG-B.Diddy PG-Skip 2 My Lou eastern conference contenders, 2 more years, championship contenders
^ The trade hasn't even happend yet, calm yourself haha. But yeah, I share your excitement because this would definetly be a steal for the Raptors. Carter and Davis are both toss-ups because of Davis's health issues and Carter downfall in terms of playing ability but this is definetly a great trade. Not sure what NO fans think of it though. It'd be great if we could get rid of Palacio as well.
i think the hornets deal is the best option for the raps cause he addresses a glaring weakness in the raptor lineup: we need size and we need it now.
