    no still here!

great move by gallinari to get to the rim!!

hickson is still shitting on them though!

incredible turn around by gallinari he calmed down and is playing well. For the nets though i still rather have lopez! hickson would have been tremendous at 21.

Gallinari is a perimeter only player and he needs the ball to be effective.

He has no chance against a PF like Hickson.

He's a good fit for the Knicks because his ballhandling creates mismatches everywhere and he only plays on one end.

I'm jealous. Why wasn't the Orlando summer league on NBAtv?

LV summer league gets REAL announcers, REAL cameras, replays, crowds, listening in on the huddles, court side interviews, etc... But yet we get stuck with 2 dumbasses that have no right near a microphone and a piece of shit webcam. I feel like crying.

Just the mere fact he can shoot so well will make him effective without the ball. The defense will be kept honest, and the Knicks can spread the floor. He's also pretty versatile; he's not solely a perimeter player. Gallo can handle the ball in pressure, distribute, and post up smaller players.

Physically, Gallinari is a SF right now and was playing center for most of the game against Hickson and Tractor Traylor. No doubt he's going to get abused. But all things considered, he played well against them. You can tell he was nervous in the first half, but he quickly regained composure in the second with the put-back dunk. Also, that crossover was nice. Those are the match-up nightmares I think we can expect from him.

His defense was unfairly criticized, IMO. He made a few rookie mistakes, but for the most part, he did a good job putting his hands up to contest shots and get deflections.
