Better than Dumars and Thomas? I didn't see Frazier and Monroe just heard of them. But that it what I'm talking about.

which is saying a lot considering how tiny he was.

I had the same experience. Saw his Toronto highlights. Was excited. That didn't last. I wanted Anderson back. Or at least a real upgrade over Anderson.

Not the best of all time, but Isaiah Thomas and Joe Dumars (with Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson on speed dial) were an absolutely killer backcourt, offensively and defensively. Undersized too......

It's kinda funny how we rag on Damon (some of it's justified), but Kenny Anderson really dropped off in production after he left Portland.

Also, damn look at the trade that they made for Damon.

Traded by the Portland Trail Blazers with Gary Trent, Alvin Williams, a 1998 1st round draft pick (Bryce Drew was later selected), a 1998 1st round draft pick (Mirsad Türkcan was later selected) and a 1998 2nd round draft pick (Tyson Wheeler was later selected) to the Toronto Raptors for Carlos Rogers, Damon Stoudamire and Walt Williams.

Two 1st round picks (both of which didn't amount to shit) and 2 players.

Carlos and Walt were later traded for Pippen (also with Cato, Augmon, Brian FUCKING Shaw and Ed Gray).

If it wasn't because of physical problems, his dropoff could have been because of the trade.

The one thing I did like about Damon was his effort on defense. He always stayed in front of his man, which did make a difference.
Greg Anthony would gamble, and someone like Jason Kidd would drive right by him.

    Close but I’d take Frazier/Monroe.

That’s how I see it too, Sharpe has the tools to potentially put up 30 points a night along with a few 40/50 burgers for the highlights. Scoot is the pg that will get him there.

Magic and Byron Scott was pretty good.

    Tim Hardaway and Mitch Richmond.

    Steph and Klay.

Jason Kidd and Penny Hardaway was supposed to be good. Penny was never healthy.

Payton and Kobe was was good on paper.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I really hope we don’t need Shae to score that much. I want balanced scoring. I want three dudes at 20+.

    Scoot at 20 and 10.
Shae at 20 on super efficient numbers.
    Grant at 20.

    That would be amazing.

I hope the duo is as successful as Michael Jordan and whoever played opposite of him.
