Checked out Summerlin and Henderson. Summerlin seemed more developed, went up the hill to some community called Paseo, they had some really pimp ass pads out there. Hit up Inspirada, the first community seemed too family oriented and lame tbh, but checked out another one coming up that looked better. I liked the builder "Toll Brothers" the best, they seemed to have the best models out there, the other companies seemed so cheap and boring.

Was blown away actually by some of them versus what you get for the same money in LA. It is figuratively insane.

Hit up FEAST Buffet at Red Rock. Pretty great quality for the price. It was a huge buffet. $21.99 for brunch, not bad at all...and only $17.99 with a players card. I may stay at Red Rock sometime, its pretty self-contained, very relaxing type of atmosphere.

The Golden Tiki was really cool. Other than the dude smoking a pack of cigarettes next to me, it was a great vibe, and good drinks.

Why would anyone not get a players' card before eating at the buffet?

I got a rez for the Sterling Brunch for when I'm there in Dec. Really pumped about that.

Lobster, melted butter and lemon juice, you couple that with some champagne and what more could you ask for? Oh, I guess a nice baked potato would go nice with that.

I'm not a fan of lobster, personally. I think they do have king crab leg and caviar though.

I prefer Dungeness over King Crab. Had some claw meat last night, lemon juice and thousand island with some cucumber slices and tomato. Normally, I'd have avocado with that but avocado is not on my health diet. Washed it all down with an IBC root beer although a nice beer would have gone well with that.
It depends on the type of caviar. If it's the right kind of sturgeon than great, else, no thanks. Of course, caviar demands a high quality champagne.

I drove through Inspirada this weekend too. Left my wife at the M for an hour for some craft fair and drove through Inspirada to my old house in anthem highlands. It is crazy how much they've built since I moved 3 years ago. The toll brothers models that were open 3 years ago were sick.

I was at the M for a little bit on Sunday. Got a little lost out there, but there is so much land its insane. Seemed kind of bare/spartan in that area right now.

They are planning some community mall there called Inspirada Town Center

I was told by a uber drive to peep Marquis 7 Hills. big baller homes to just drool at

It was almost empty a few years ago. They're building like crazy now.

I've considered moving to Vegas when I retire. Still might.

I think it may be an option for me in the next few years (keeping my apartment in LA forever though or as long as I have rent control on it which should be forever).

I think a LOT of people from California are going to be moving there in the next few years. Its like a mix of the housing market going to crash vs. Californians escaping the shit here.

    Why?
Too many poor people in poor neighborhoods. Too much gambling absolutely everywhere. Lots and lots of nothingness just outside the city. No water. Plenty of summer heat such that without air conditioning you're dead.
No, give me Oregon with all our rivers, lakes, trees, tree huggers and greenery. We also know how to recycle.

If you go to Henderson and Summerlin, you are really isolated from the scum bags. There are so many shady ass people in the middle of Vegas.

    Red Rock was great.

Mt Charleston is a cool forrest area. 45 min out of town.
    Lake Mead is close too.

I like the sun. I don't really gamble other than a little at the sports book. I love Oregon, but the winters here are depressing.

We recycle all kinds of shit. No sorting.

I have a 50 gallon garbage can and 50 gallon recycling can.

The one and only thing pushing me out of here is..........THE CALIFORNIANS

IF the Californians that are taking over don't change too much of our government it is a great place to retire.

The legalized weed is driving me insane though. I smell it everywhere. In the cars next to me at stoplights.
